"You have the power to do it. Once you kill Naraku, all the Sacred Jewel Shards he has gathered will be yours. Let's use those shards and provide ourselves with a little amusement." Kagura points out with a terrifying grin, while Rin and Jaken were sitting on the ground staring up at her, as Sesshomaru stared at her with an unamused expression.
"You intend to betray Naraku?" Sesshomaru asks, causing Kagura to look away from him.
"It's not as though I have chosen to live under his command. What do you think of my plan? Joining forces would be of mutual benefit." Kagura answers.
"Unfortunately, I have no interest in the Sacred Jewel." Sesshomaru insists, causing Kagura to glance over at Jaken.
"Imp, did I hear you mention something before about (Y/N)?" Kagura questions, causing Sesshomaru's eyes to slightly widen.
"You know her?" Jaken's questions caused Rin's eyes to light up.
"She used to travel with us, but then she suddenly disappeared... Do you know where she is?" Rin asks, causing Kagura to look back over at Sesshomaru.
"I see... Sesshomaru, by killing Naraku, would obviously set (Y/N) free from his grasp, and it may be a little loose compared to the one he has on me, but it's definitely still there." Kagura informs, causing Sesshomaru to step a little closer to Kagura as his numb expression appeared once again.
If you wish to become free, use those shards yourself and destroy Naraku." Sesshomaru states, causing Kagura to stand up straight.
"Hmm! Are you afraid of him?!" Kagura exclaims.
"I'm saying I'm under no obligation to assist you." Sesshomaru declares, causing Kagura to glare at him with a distasteful expression.
"If you don't have the resolve to go it alone, don't even think about betraying him." Sesshomaru adds.
"Foolish Coward! And you call yourself a man?!" Kagura exclaims with an angry expression, causing both Rin and Jaken to shrink back a little as her voice echoes out.
"I misjudged you," Kagura adds as she grabs one of her feathers and throws it, causing her to jump up onto it.
"Pathetic fool," Kagura remarks as she glares back at Sesshomaru, but then turns and flies away.
"Ha! That despicable woman. You know, I wonder if she truly intended to make you her protector. Talk about gall. Where on Earth does she get the nerve? An incarnation, that's all she is." Jaken fumed as he stood up from the ground.
"You're so strong, Lord Sesshomaru. You don't even need the power of the Sacred Jewel." Rin compliments as Sesshomaru stares off in the direction Kagura left.
"That woman mentioned (Y/N), though as if she knew where she was." Jaken made known, causing Sesshomaru to turn away and begin walking.
"Hmm? Milord, where are you off to? Are you leaving already?!" Jaken exclaims as he and Rin begin running after him.
"Ahh! Oh, I forgot something." Jaken insists as he rushes back over and grabs A-Un's reins.
"Come along," Jaken adds as he begins to walk with A-Un, while Rin rushes to Sesshomaru's side.
"Lord Sesshomaru, I'm not lonely anymore, but I wonder if maybe Kagura is..." Rin trails off as she then looks up at Sesshomaru.
"Do you think (Y/N) is okay?" Rin questions, causing Sesshomaru to glance down at her for a moment, but then back up in front of him.
"Knowing that stubborn girl, I'm sure she's fine," Jaken responds as he catches up to them.
(To (Y/N))
Standing beside Kagome, I watched as she was giving Koga first aid treatment as the wolves all gathered around us with worried expressions.
"Oops. Did I wind it too tight?" Kagome asks, causing Koga to smile over at her.
"No. Thanks, Kagome. Your remedies have taken away nearly all of the pain." Koga answers as he grabs one of her hands.
"That's doubtful, seeing how badly you're injured..." I trail off as I glance over to see Inuyasha walking over to us.
"Leave that half-dead Wolf alone, Kagome," Inuyasha demands, causing all the Wolves to growl over at Inuyasha.
"What?!" Koga exclaims as he glares over at him.
"If it doesn't hurt anymore, then run on home... You puny little Wolf." Inuyasha instructs, causing Koga to stand up. "He's talking a lot of shit for someone who can be easily defeated right now." I think as I roll my eyes.
"Who are you to talk? Standing there all weak and Mortal, Inuyasha. You're in no position to criticize the shape I'm in." Koga counters.
"I'm not like this by choice, idiot." Inuyasha re-counters.
"You want to fight?" Koga asks, moving closer to Inuyasha.
"You bet, if you're up to it," Inuyasha answers as he moves closer to Koga, causing them both to glare at each other, while growling.
"Hello. Don't you think we should take back the Jewel Shards?" Kagome questions with a bored expression, causing me to scoff and walk over to them.
"Knock off the Wolf and Dog fight!" I bellow as I push them both away from each other, causing Songo and Kagome to hop on her bike as Shippo, Inuyasha, and Koga get on Kirara, while Miroku and I were on foot. We all began heading in the direction Kagome and I sensed the Jewel in.
"Why do you have to come along anyway?" Inuyasha asks, looking back at Koga.
"Shut up. Those Shards belong to me, and I ain't gonna let you have them." Koga answers, causing me to let out a sigh, but then Miroku, who was running beside me, looks over at Kagome.
"So, Kagura hasn't returned to the castle yet?" Miroku's questions caused Kagome to look over at him.
"Hmm. Doesn't look like it. I feel like the Sacred Jewel Shards are moving further and further away from Naraku's castle." Kagome responds, and I nod.
"Kagura's trying to betray Naraku, that has to be it." I point out, causing everyone to turn to me. "She hates Naraku and even more so when he tells her what to do... So Kagura's trying to rebel and betray Naraku." I think putting on a thoughtful expression.
"Does that mean Kagura is stealing the Shards on her own?" Inuyasha asks.
"It's possible," Miroku answers. "Knowing Naraku, he would have already done something about Kagura. Did something have happened to him?" I wonder, but I then quickly shake my head.
"Don't you think this whole thing is strange, Inuyasha? Even the barrier. Why were you and Koga able to pick up the scent of the castle? The barrier has weakened. It must be because Naraku's own powers are weak." Miroku explains, causing my eyes to widen. "That's right..." I think a slight pain appears in my chest, causing a bewildered expression to form on my face.
"Right. Naraku is a Half-Demon as well." Kagome reminds causing me to turn to them.
"He used the body of a Human named Onigumo and gathered the powers of countless Demons." Songo points out, causing me to look away from them. "Naraku was originally Human and became a Half-Demon?" I wonder as mixed feelings began to well up inside me.
"So he's a Half-Demon, just like Inuyasha," Shippo concludes.
"Inuyasha loses his powers on the night of the New Moon. So maybe Naraku has a time when his powers wane." Kagome specifies.
"Meaning he has a weakness, too." Inuyasha insists, causing me to look over at him.
"You were born as a Half-Demon, Naraku made himself one, so it may be completely different, so I wouldn't get your hopes up too much," I warn, causing Miroku to nod.
"(Y/N)'s right, we should be prepared for anything," Miroku adds, causing Inuyasha to scoff and look away from us.
(To Naraku)
(Naraku's POV)
Opening my eyes, I look down to see Kanna standing there as an image begins to appear showing me Kagura flying on her feather in the starry night sky.
"Kagura... It's useless to flee." I state, while staring down at the mirror. However, it suddenly began to change. (Y/N), appeared in the mirror as it looked like she was running with Inuyasha's group, who was accompanied by Koga.
"Enough, Kanna! Do not show me that girl anymore..." I trail off, causing Kanna to then disappear from my vision. "Soon, I will no longer have such compulsion for that Human." I think with an annoyed expression.
(To Kagura)
With an angry expression, she was glaring down at her hand that had the Shards in it, while flying through the air. Suddenly, Kagura opens her hand and looks down at the two Shards while being deep in thought.
"Ha." Kagura sounds as she closes her hand.
(To (Y/N) )
((Y/N)'s POV)
"I can smell Kagura here." Koga insists as he jumps off Kirara, causing us all to look back at him.
"Koga, don't!" I call out, but he looks over at me with a grin.
"I'll be fine," Koga states as he then runs up to Kagome.
"Thanks for helping me. I'm going ahead." Koga adds.
"Koga!" Kagome bellows. "No, he won't be able to defeat Kagura." I think with a worried expression.
"Why that little-"
"Koga, wait! Is your leg well enough?!" Kagome exclaims while interrupting Inuyasha, causing Koga to look back at us.
"My wounds are fine now. Unlike that twerp Inuyasha, I'm a real Demon." Koga remarks with a smirk. "Not by himself at least." I think as I increase my speed, trying to catch up to Koga.
"What?!" Inuyasha exclaims.
"See ya!" Koga calls out as he then looks over to see me beside him.
"I'm not letting you go alone." I declare, causing Koga to put on a confused expression, but then sighs.
"Who do you think you're calling a twerp!?" Inuyasha calls out angrily.
"You'd better keep up, then." Koga points out, while ignoring Inuyasha, causing me to grin.
"No, problem," I assure as we both increase our speed. "It's easy to keep up with Koga, seeing as he doesn't have his Jewel Shards and he's still injured, even if this stubborn Wolf doesn't want to admit it." I think as we continue on our way.
(To Kagome)
"Sango, Koga doesn't have his Sacred Jewel Shards anymore. He doesn't stand a chance." Miroku points out.
"(Y/N) knew that, so she followed after him, but I'm still worried..." Kagome trails off, causing Songo to nod.
"We'll follow them. Kirara, let Inuyasha down." Songo instructs, causing Kirara to tilt, making Inuyasha and Shippo fall off. Allowing Songo to jump on Kirara's back with ease and turn back to Inuyasha.
"Inuyasha, I want you to keep out of sight for a little longer," Songo states.
"Come on. You've got to be kidding me. Ah!" Inuyasha sounds out as he was hit in the head by Miroku's staff, causing Inuyasha to fall to the ground.
"You've got to be more careful. Hmm?" Miroku asks as the sound of buzzing rings out, causing them all to look up.
"The poison insects are out," Songo answers as they see hundreds of them.
"Naraku's starting to make his move. Inuyasha can't be seen like this." Miroku points out as he looks down at the unconscious Inuyasha.
(To (Y/N) )
"Kagura's coming," I inform Koga, causing him to look over at me, and I look up to see Kagura.
"Kagura!" Songo calls out as she throws her Hiraikotsu, causing Kagura to quickly blow it back using her fan and falls to the ground, but lands on her feet in front of Koga and me.
"Kagura, you witch," Koga remarks.
"What is it this time? Looking for more punishment?" Kagura asks with a sadistic expression.
"Don't kid yourself. You stole my Jewel Shards. I'm taking them back." Koga answers.
"Yeah? And you're relying on her to help. You know she was in cahoots with Naraku before I was, and from what I heard it..." Kagura trails off as she points her fan towards me.
"You're the reason we incarnations were created," Kagura informs.
"What?" Songo questions, causing me to glare at Kagura, while taking my sword out of its sheath.
"But that's not all, is it-" interrupting Kagura, I quickly rush over to her, while swinging my sword, causing Kagura to jump backwards.
"You say another word, next time it'll be with Spiritual Power." I threaten as I point my sword towards Kagura.
"No matter, but you both are relying on Inuyasha and his pathetic friends for help. I mean, come on, Koga..." Kagura trails off as she holds up her hand to reveal his Jewel Shards.
"Without these, you're too scared to fight alone, are you?" Kagura asks, causing me to rush towards her, but Koga holds his hand out in front of me.
"I'll beat Kagura!" Koga proclaims as he looks back at me.
"But, Koga-"
"Don't even think about interfering!" Koga demands, while interrupting me, which makes me take a step back.
"What, Koga?!" Songo exclaims, causing Koga to look over at her.
"Don't forget, I still have my claws!" Koga declares as he rushes towards her.
"Just try it." Kagura dares as she holds up her fan and unfolds it.
"Dance of Blades!" Kagura bellows as she brings her fan down, causing 3 blades of air to rush towards him, but Koga dodges each one. "Damn it, thanks to Kagura, he won't let me or Songo help him." I think as I watch him continue to dodge all Kagura's advances, until a large cloud of dust blocks my vision.
"Aah! Oh!" Koga sounds out as I hear a thud.
"Koga!" I call out as I jump up to a tree to see that Koga was on the ground.
"Just hurry up and die now!" Kagura shouts with another sweep of her fan, causing Blades to rush towards Koga, but he quickly dodges. Dodging another attack, Koga began to breathe hard, causing my worried expression to resurface.
"I don't have time to bother with the likes of you!" Kagura thundered as she kept launching attacks towards Koga one after another until he ended up back on the ground.
"Koga!" Songo calls out, causing me to grit my teeth.
"Stay back!" Koga barks as he gets up and begins dodging Kagura's advances once more.
"You're infuriating!" Kagura roared, but then stopped before letting off another attack, and looked down into her hand. "What could she possibly be thinking about at a time like this?" I think as she stared at the Jewel Shards that were in her hand.
"Damn it all." Koga curses as I jump down from the tree I was standing on and rush over to Koga.
"Koga, this is ridiculous. Let us help you." I counter as I try to help him up.
"I said I'm fine." Koga re-counters and gets up without my help.
"What's happening? This isn't even a fight, Kagura." Songo points out that I begin to feel a terrible demonic aura, causing me to look up to see a bunch of demons emerging from the dark clouds.
"Naraku's Demons!" Songo shouts as I see the Poisonous Insect was among them, causing my hands to form fists. "Damn it, was I wrong about Kagura trying to betray Naraku, and this was a trap?!" I wonder as I unsheathe my sword.
"He always sends so many Damons to attack. Hyah!" Songo sounds out as she throws her Hiraikotsu at the horde of Demons.
"Songo, be careful!" I call out as she rushes towards them on Kirara.
"Thanks for the target, Kagura!" Koga calls out as I look over to see him rush over to Kagura.
"Die!" Koga demands as he punches Kagura in the face, which makes the shards fly out of her hands and up into the air.
"They're mine!" Koga shouts as he rushes to the shards that fell on the ground, but I then look over to see Kagura fixing to unleash an attack.
"NO, KOGA RUN!" I scream, but Koga ignores me, causing me to rush towards him after sheathing my sword.
"Dance of the Dragon!" Kagura bellows as a massive tornado falls into his hand.
"AAH!" Koga sounds out in pain, causing me to go to grab him, but Koga falls to the ground. "Damn it!" I think as I dodge the wind tornado that hits Koga once again, pushing him off to the side.
"No, I have to do something..." I trail off as I look down at begin concentrating on my hand. "Please, I have to use my power to get rid of the tornado!" I think as I hold my hand out, while trying to accumulate my spiritual power into it.
"Aah!" Another scream from Koga sounds out, causing me to look up to see the Tornado crushing him up against the ground.
"Please, come out! I pleaded as a tornado began heading in my direction, causing me to close my eyes.
"Come back here, Inuyasha! Please!" Kagome's voice enters my ears, causing my eyes to open to see Spiritual Power floating above my hand. Shooting the tornado that was coming my way, it disappears, and I quickly rush towards Koga. "I have to rely on myself for this!" I think as I then see day beginning to break as I go to grab Koga, but another Tornado comes my way.
"Damn it!" I curse, but then a light shines from my body, and once the light was gone, I looked over to see that all the tornadoes were gone. "Did I do that?" I wonder, but then I shake my head as I quickly catch Koga, who had been up in the air thanks to the tornadoes and glare over at Kagura.
"Koga, you're a glutton for punishment, aren't you? How about surrendering?" Kagura questions as she makes her way towards us.
"One more step and I won't hesitate." I threaten as I hold out one of my hands, causing Kagura to stop in her tracks.
"You should thank me... With this, I'll release you from Naraku!" Kagura proclaims as she brings her fan down, causing a tornado to rush down towards us, and I shield Koga with my own body, while tightly shutting my eyes, preparing for the pain.
"KOGA, (Y/N)!" Songo and Kagome chorused, but I then opened my eyes to see a red cloth, causing me to look up to see it was Inuyasha, but his hair was still black.
"Inu-yasha..." I trailed off, but the aura I was getting from him felt weird. "Is he transforming back?" I wonder as I then see his hair turn white, causing me to let out a sigh of relief, while his demonic aura turned back to normal.
"Are you okay, (Y/N)?" Miroku asks, and I nod as he grabs Koga, who was lying on my lap.
"Kagura, it can't be much fun killing a Half-Dead Wolf, can it?" Inuyasha asks.
"Inuyasha?" Kagura questions with wide eyes as Inuyasha draws his sword.
"I'll take you on from this point." Inuyasha insists as I look over to see Kagura glaring at Inuyasha, with a slight look of suspicion. "What did she mean by release me from Naraku?" I wonder as I narrow my eyes at her.
"That Inuyasha... Is he crazy? Butting into my fight like that." Koga retorts as I look over to see that he is breathing hard.
"Well, you're lucky that he did. Any later, and you, along with (Y/N), would have been killed for sure, Koga." Miroku points out, but Koga wouldn't look away from Inuyasha.
"Huh. What a laugh. He came to save me, knowing that Kagura would discover his dirty little secret." Koga counters, causing me to scoff.
"That isn't how you say thanks, Koga." I re-counter, causing him to finally glance over at me, but his face was full to the brim with mixed emotions.
"Inuyasha, so you lose all your powers on a moonless night." Kagura made known with a smirk.
"Huh! What if I do? I'm back, so who cares? Hyah!" Inuyasha sounds out as he rushes towards Kagura.
"You're right. It doesn't matter anymore... Because you're gonna die right this minute! Dance of the Dragon!" Kagura bellows with a sweep of her fan, causing the huge tornado to rush towards Inuyasha.
"Wind Scar!" Inuyasha shouts as he slams his sword down on the ground, and his blast cuts straight through her tornado and rushes toward Kagura.
"What happened? How did he cut through my Whirlwind?!" Kagura exclaims, but right before the wind scar could reach Kagura, the rest of the Horde of Demons rushes in front of her.
"All of Naraku's demons..." Songo trails off.
"They protected Kagura." Miroku finishes Kagura's sentence.
"Kagura. She escaped again. Hey, you puny Wolf, hope you learned your lesson." Inuyasha insists as he looks over at Koga.
"Never interfere in my fight with Naraku. Huh?" Inuyasha sounds with wide eyes, causing me to look over and see Koga digging in the dirt.
"Found them- my Sacred Jewel Shards." Koga declares as he holds them up.
"What? Give them here!" Inuyasha demands as he rushes over to Koga, who jumps away with a grin.
"No way I'm doing that. Hmm..." Koga trails off as he places the Jewel Shards in his legs and then stands up.
"Remember this, Mangy Mutt- I've sworn to avenge my comrades' deaths. I'll be the one to take Naraku's head, not you. Don't forget that, also (Y/N). I'm in your debt..." Koga trails off, causing my eyes to widen as he then goes to run away. "I thought he hated me, seeing as I am the one who gave Naraku the idea. I mean, if Kagura was never created, maybe Koga's tribe would still be alive..." I think as I look down at the ground.
"Wait, Koga!" Kagome calls out, causing Koga to stop and turn back to her.
"What you saw last night... I mean, about Inuyasha, please don't tell." Kagome requests.
"Oh, don't worry. I couldn't care less what shape that Mutt Inuyasha takes." Koga insists and then takes off.
"Does that mean he won't tell?" Shippo asks as Miroku, Inuyasha, and I walk over to them.
"I think we can count on Koga. The problem is Kagura." Miroku answers, and I nod. "Yeah, but what the hell did she mean by releasing me from Naraku? I can't still be in Naraku's grasp, right?" I wonder as I look up into the sky with an uneasy feeling.
(To Kagura)
She detransforms her feather and lands in front of the castle, but then makes her way in and begins walking through the hallway. Suddenly, Kagura sees Kanna walking around the corner, causing Kagura to follow after her with a curious expression. Following after her, Kanna then goes down to the cellar, causing Kagura to follow after her. Walking towards the door in the floor, Kagura then opens it up, but is then grabbed by her neck and pulled into the room by a tentacle. letting go, the tentacle sleeks back causing Kagura to open her eyes and slowly lifts up off the ground.
(Naraku's POV)
Kagura... Did you enjoy yourself outside?" I ask as Kagura looks over at me with a gasp, while widening her eyes. "I figured she was going to betray me..." I think with my eyes closed.
"Kagura, while I slept, you left the castle. Don't try to deny it." I state as I slowly lifted some of the demon's body parts that were around Kagura. "Though her betrayal didn't make me upset, it was something else..." I think as I pull her towards me with the demon parts and her face was inches from mine.
"Kagura, you are still a part of me. Would you like to return to my flesh again?" I question as I glare at her.
"No. Please. Wait. I-I promise I won't d-do it again." Kagura stutters as she looks down at the ground.
"This will be your last chance." I declare.
(To (Y/N)
((Y/N)'s POV)
"This will make our lives a lot harder. Now that Kagura knows Inuyasha's secret, we're gonna have to be stronger than ever, Sango, (Y/N)." Miroku states. "Why hasn't Songo brought it up yet?" I wonder, while completely ignoring Miroku.
"I don't need you to worry about me. Besides, I'm the one who comes through when it really matters the most." Inuyasha declares with a grin. "How can they not suspect me and trust me...?" I wonder looking over at Inuyasha.
"Give it a rest." Songo insists with an annoyed expression. "I mean, I don't even trust myself." I think looking over at Kagome.
"He's just saying that. I mean before Inuyasha met us all, he'd actually never let anyone else see his Human-Form. I think he really depends on every single one of us." Kagome points out causing Inuyasha to look away from them. "What if Naraku really does still have a hold on me?" I wonder as I look down at the ground.
"Hmm. Yeah, that's what you think." Inuyasha remarks.
"No need to be embarrassed, Inuyasha." Miroku retorts with a big grin.
"I ain't embarrassed." Inuyasha counters.
"I think you are." Shippo re-counters causing Songo to laugh.
"It's not even an issue." Songo adds.
"That's for sure." Shippo agrees.
"Grr! Would you get off my back for once!" Inuyasha demands as he stops walking.
"You can always count on us, Inuyasha." Shippo assures.
"Knock it off, would you! I don't need anyone's help!" Inuyasha proclaims as everyone, but Kagome starts teasing him.
"Would you people stop getting under my skin? No, I'm serious! That's the last warning!" Inuyasha shouts.
"(Y/N)?" Kagome asks as she sees me about half a yard away from them.
"Are you okay?" Songo questions causing me to look up at them with anxiety written all over my face. "You're pathetic!" A voice rings out from my head causing my vision to go black.
