Mitsuki's Pov
As soon as he went into his room, I started thinking of ways to get out of here. I don't know how many days I've been unconscious. I also haven't eaten anything since the day he kidnapped me. As time passed, my head began to hurt. I sighed. "Ugh!" This is so frustrating. I want nothing but to leave this place!
3rd Person's Pov
The brunette checks the woman who is lying on the bed and is sleeping like a kid. The man chuckles. He runs his hands through his hair.
"Look at you being adorable right now," he said, a pleasant look on his face, and he decided to lie down next to her.
The man took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving her face. He watched the woman closely, taking in every small detail. A superior smile plays across the man's lips, but suddenly his face becomes serious and says in a quiet voice, "Your life belongs to me." He then closed his eyes and stayed like that for a while.
Mitsuki's Pov
I woke up in the middle of the night. I must have fallen asleep because I was tired from overthinking. I sighed in frustration. Why the hell is this happening to me? If only I knew this would happen, I should've stayed at home.
"Mmmn…" I jolted! What the hell is he doing here?! I just found the man lying beside me. I blinked twice. I couldn't believe my eyes. What the fuck! Wait a minute, this might be a good opportunity for me. I took a deep breath, and slowly got up from bed, walking guardedly until I reached the door.
"Careful not to make any sound." I whisper to myself. This is nerve-wracking! I immediately opened it and finally I was outside his door.
I made sure to close the door quietly so he won't wake up. Let's leave this place! I ran until I reached the elevator. A strange feeling agitated me. I clenched my fist and I was breathing heavily. My heart felt heavy for some reason. I shook my head, then closed my eyes and breathed slowly, trying to ignore this dark feeling inside me.
I pressed the door open button and waited for a second. A man and a woman in their 30s appeared. The three of us looked at each other. It didn't take long for them to get out. I just shrugged. They smelled of alcohol and cigarettes. I entered the elevator and was about to press the button, but suddenly, I saw a hand holding one of the elevator doors. My jaw dropped open, and my mind struggled to process what I had seen. The man!! I was unable to react for a few seconds, completely frozen…
"And where the hell do you think you're going?" The familiar voice spoke in a deadly tone. I gasped and my body fell to the floor.
3rd Person's Pov
The man didn't notice that he fell asleep. He looked at his watch. "Oh, it's already midnight." He was planning to wake up the person next to him, but the man was surprised that the woman was gone. The man clenched his fists, his brows furrowed, jaw was tense, his eyes sharpening. Silence filled the air. He exhaled as he tries to control himself.
"H-a Ha ha ha" the man was grinning wildly with an evil laugh.
"You piece of shit," he was talking about the woman. He wants nothing but to kill her at that moment, however he keeps his composure. He got up from the bed and went outside his condo.
"You're dead," the man said in a very calm way. He then hummed, his eyes shining with excitement. The man found the woman standing inside the elevator.
"There you are," Then the man went in her direction.
Mitsuki's Pov
"And where do you think you're going?"
It's him! What should I do? Fuck!! I'm dead for sure. I wanted to run, but my feet would not allow me to do so. My whole body was shaking. I can't think of anything. I'm so scared. I hate this... I felt unease and fear rising up from my stomach. It was impossible to scream. My heart was beating loudly in my ears. The loud beating of my heart seemed to be drowning out everything else, causing my mind to become clouded with fear and unable to think clearly.
"You'll give me an answer, or do you wish to lose your tongue?"
His icy stare pierced into mine, his mouth twisted with threat. I can't get the words out of my mouth. This is the end of me. I have been wishing to die for a long time but not like this. I refused to die by his hands. I closed my eyes, not knowing what to do. But my body kept trembling.....
"Don't make me repeat myself." The man said. I clenched my heart and slowly opened my eyes, gasping for air. It's okay, it's going to be okay. I finally managed to look at him. I feel like I'm going to faint at any moment. His eyes are killing me.
"I- I apologize.." I paused, my voice was cracking. I wanted to throw up. I exhaled as I struggled to find a perfect excuse.
"I- I was hungry-" You idiot! Why would you do such a foolish thing?! I felt a rush of adrenaline. I messed up. This is the worst. I am going to die. I sighed in defeat, letting my head drop. Tears welled up in my eyes....
"You're not thinking that I'll buy your lame excuses, eh?" The man chuckled.
"I see. You really want to die, huh?" My brain was not functioning anymore. This is the end of me.....
"Huff! " I couldn't take it... I sobbed into my hands, my shoulders trembling. I wish this was all a dream.
I was trying to keep my composure, but my tears kept falling down, and the man didn't say anything. What's going on in his mind? Is he going to kill me? The thought of him killing me makes me sick to my stomach. This is my fault. I regret everything.
"You really-" He didn't finish his sentence, what was that?
"Look at me" He added. I was hesitant at first, but I just did what he wanted. He's not holding the elevator door anymore. Wait!Am I hallucinating? Did I just see a concerned look in his eyes? Was he not angry? That's Impossible. Ah! My head is aching!
"Stop crying now. I was just joking. How can I kill such an amazing person?" He spoke in a honeyed voice. Lies. Such a liar person! I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. I won't let him deceive me!
He looked me straight in the eyes, and I did the same thing. His smile was devilish, he was indeed a monster.
"You owe me an explanation." He claps his hand and walks towards me, then grabs my hands and drags me outside the elevator.
"Tell me only the truth." He cupped my cheeks. That startled me! He was smiling again, a very wicked one.
I don't have a choice, do I? I opened my mouth and breathed out... I have to escape.., and I won't let him kill me!
"I was planning to go get some food. I haven't eaten anything since that day, my stomach hurts a lot. I tried checking your fridge, but I only saw nothing but drinks. It's a good thing that I have some money on me-" He held his chin, nodding his head, signaling me to keep going.
"That's all there is to it." He hummed, letting out a small laugh. Don't panic, it's okay. Don't panic. I keep repeating these words in my head. All of a sudden, this man just burst out into laughter. He's insane!
"Aha! I apologize, you had to see my empty refrigerator. I haven't done any shopping for a while. I hope you understand." I decided to put my fears aside and get along with him for now. I need to create a plan first. I'm going to escape no matter what the circumstances are.
3rd Person's Pov
The woman seemed lost in her thoughts. She couldn't hear what the man was saying at all. The man hates being ignored. He tried calling her again, but still no response. The brunette's eyes became fixed and hardened, narrowed into thin lines as he watched the woman with intent. He's losing his patience. He then spoke again.
"Are you listening to me?"
"Hey?"
"If you don't answer, I'm going to break your neck for real." He finally managed to get the woman's attention, but the woman gasped at hearing those words. Her heartbeat was loud, and the woman was panicking again.
Mitsuki's Pov
I bit my lower lip. What did he just say? Break my neck? What the fuck!? I wanted to ignore his threats and just put my fears aside, but it's not easy in this kind of situation. Relax. Take a deep breath. Calm down. I told myself many times, but how am I supposed to calm down? This is hopeless!
"Look at your face. I didn't know you're a scaredy cat." He says, looking at me without remorse.
"What?" Is all I can say. He caressed my face before he spoke.
"I'm only playing with you, so relax a little." He doesn't really care about other people's feelings, it's making me mad. I shoved his hand. He was startled, and looked at me with confused eyes.
"Oh, my. Did I scare you that much?" He gave me a cold-eyed stare.
"I'm really sorry~ Please don't be afraid, I won't hurt you, promise~" He added, and then before he could say anything again, I interrupted him.
"WHO ARE YOU KIDDING?! YOU JUST TOLD ME YOU'RE GOING TO BREAK MY NECK! AND NOW WHAT?! YOU WON'T HURT ME?! NONSENSE! DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THAT I WOULD BELIEVE YOU?! HAAA! DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!"
I've had enough of this bullshit. I don't care anymore if he's gonna kill me or not. Suddenly, I felt something wet coming down my face. Ugh! I can't believe I cried again. Why the fuck did I cry?! Pathetic. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist as I glared at him.
"This is your fault," I said, trying not to cry even more.
Silence filled the air for a second. The next thing that happened was that he was holding my hands, his other hand wiping my tears. What the heck?
I tried to shove both his hands, but I failed.
"Let me go." I said in a serious voice.
"Let me go...." Still no response.
"LET ME G--"
"I'm sorry." He looked at me with sincerity in his eyes, then smiled softly. My body froze when he hugged me. I have no idea what's going on? What is he trying to do now?
"I'm sorry if my words frightened you. Forget what I said about harming you. It doesn't mean anything." That is genuine. He really meant it. I can tell by looking into his eyes.
But I won't let you sway me.
