Flint's POV
Her eyes widened in surprise, lips slightly parted. She was very shocked to hear me say my name. I'm loving her expression right now. You should at least know my name. We are going to live together after all. However, I won't force her to tell me her name if she doesn't want to. I have to maintain my acting after all.
"Fufu." I can't help but let out a small laugh. It's been a while since I've felt this kind of excitement.
"Yo-you... did you just tell me your name?!" I closed my eyes and smiled playfully.
"Why? I thought you were curious."
"I am not." Pff. She answers right away. You must really hate me, huh?
"But you wanted to know my name back then, Am I right?" Let's tease her.~
"That's because..." She paused for a bit and then continued, "I thought you were a good person." I nodded my head, still smiling, but with an innocent one this time.
"But I am."
"Huh? Are you serious?! You're a total psycho!" She raised her voice, and then pointed a finger at me. Her emerald eyes are full of anger. I was a bit stunned by her actions. And then I smirked while looking straight into her eyes.
If you were a different person, you would probably be dead by now. Oh, how lucky you are.
"Woah, woah, stop accusing me, miss. I am innocent." I raised my hands above my head.
"Innocent, my foot." She commented.
"Bullshit." I even heard her whisper.
"Come on, you're hurting my feelings.~" She let out a fake laugh, then she moved from her seat.
"You're insane." I hummed as I listen to her. This is so fun!
"J-just kill m-me already." She tried to deliver the message calmly, but her voice became unsteady.
"Why would you say something like that? It pains me, you know."
"You're going to kill me, anyway..." I held my chin, as I try to contain myself. If this continues, I won't be able to win her over. I have to earn her trust first.
I got up from the sofa and walked to where she was. I knelt down and cradled her hands.
"I won't hurt you, I promise. What should I do in order for you to believe me?" She seems taken aback by my question. Her reaction is priceless. I would love to see that every day.
"Tell me anything. I'd do it for you." I gently pressed her hands, trying to reassure her.
"What do you say?"
"I don't trust you."
"Of course you don't. that is why I'm giving you a chance to trust me."
Her expression says it all. Ahh. She's giving me a lot of work. I have to really try harder, yeah? Faking different emotions is difficult. Fucking hell. You are lucky that you pique my interest. Because you are different.
"You can be honest. Tell me. What do you want?" Still no answer. You sure are stubborn. You really like testing my patience.
"I will give you time to think, then. I'll go for now." when I was ready to leave, she suddenly grabbed my wrist. So, I gave a soft smile.
"Yes?" I sat beside her, caressing her hands.
"Are you really serious about what you said?"
"I do not tell lies." She looked doubtful, but gave a nod.
I know how desperate you are. I know what you like. Just tell me. That way, I'll be able to earn your trust.
"Just say the word."
She took a deep breath first, then leaned her face to me, and desperately held my hands with a pleading look on her face. Eh? I raised an eyebrow, slightly confused by her actions. I wasn't expecting them. Well, it's not quite what I had in mind. I grinned and flashes a sadistic smirk as my eyes glimmer with a mixture of amusement.
"Now, tell me, what is it that you want me to do?"
"I want you to spare me." As expected~ Of course you wanted that, however, I won't allow it to happen. I faked an innocent look and shrugged.
"I'm afraid that I'm not following what you mean." She shoved my hands, then moved away from me and stood up. My eyes lit up with excitement, still making an innocent face. And of course, I must keep my acting.
"I knew it! You are lying! I shouldn't ask you....!" Her voice cracked. My~ she's going to cry again. I did give her a false hope, so I can't fault her for that. Very adorable.~
I really hate it when someone cries in front of me. It's fucking annoying, fucking gross. But I will give you an exception.
"Hey, don't cry." I walked over to her and I patted her shoulder.
"Don't touch me!"
"But I'm worried...."
"H-hey.. Don't cry.."
"Fuck off!"
Tch! I suppose I shouldn't bother her. We have a lot of time, anyway. I have to keep my distance too. She keeps getting on my nerves. I'm really trying to hold back. I'm trying not to kill her right now. I glanced at her for the last time and decided to leave her there.
When the morning comes, I went straight to the living room to check on her.
"My, look at you. You look so beat up." I told her not to worry too much. You fool, you should've believed me. I gently touched her face, trying not to wake her.
"What an adorable little dove." You better tell me your name today. I don't want to waste my energy or do something you won't like. It would ruin my act. So, be a good girl and cooperate with me. I can't just call you 'miss ' forever, right?
"Hmm...."
"Ah, you're about to wake up, huh?" I waited there for a second. She rubs her eyes first, then finally opens it up.
"Morning, miss." she immediately stood up when she heard my voice, making her lose her balance. She almost fell from the sofa, but I quickly caught her.
"Careful." I said in a worried voice. She fixed herself and rolled her eyes, then moved away quickly. Piff. She must be very upset about yesterday. She definitely thinks that I'm playing with her, which is true, but since I'm acting and all, and have to earn her trust, I have to be careful with my words and actions. I should do better then.
This is actually so much more fun than I've imagined.
"Uh." I glanced in her direction. She's massaging her stomach. Looks like she's in pain. I was about to ask about her condition, but suddenly her stomach made a sound. I couldn't help but chuckle.
"You must be hungry." She covered her face with her hands.. Very adorable.~
"Hey." I called out. She glares at me, her hands on her stomach again. I closed my eyes and gave her a warm smile.
"Can you tell me your name now?" Just say yes, don't make this harder for me. I opened my eyes and waited for her answer. She seems lost in her thoughts, thinking whether to tell me or not. Fucking hard to get.
She then let out a small sigh and looked me straight in the eyes.
"I dislike liars the most," I warned before she could speak. She gasped at hearing that. If you're trying to lie, I won't let you have your way, even if I like you.
"I know." A slight smile formed on my lips. She tried to hide her fear, but she's clearly shaking right now.
"Don't be so frightened. I'm in a good mood right now." I said, trying to calm her down.
"So, your name?"
"Hashimoto... M-mitsuki." My eyes shine with excitement. Hmm~ My smirks curl into a satisfied grin. I nod to myself. I lean back and cross my arms, looking very pleased with her.
"Nice name you have there." She averted her gaze quickly. Haha. So adorable.
Alright, I decided. I'll give you what you want. I run my fingers through my hair.
This should be fun.
"Do you want to go outside?" I asked and gave her a warm smile.
