Chapter 7 - Going To a Bar

Alright, for those that don't know. I have a co-writer over on Wattpad who goes by Heir, and they decided to join into this story with their own OC. (their oc might mention characters from our other stories we are working on)

Don't worry, Miwa will still be the main OC, along with the story still being focused on her primarily.

Also, so far Heir's OC is only in two chapters, this one and the chapter after this. As for the reason for that, they got hit with heavy burnouts shortly after from stories we are working on together and personal life stuff.

Me: Heir do you have anything you wanna say?

Heir: Nah. Enjoy.

*Miwa's apartment.*

Miwa let out a small sigh as she had just finished making breakfast. "I swear, one of these days I might add some kind of security camera. Just so I know where that stupid old monkey comes into my place."

Miwa sat down on her couch and turned on the TV, watching the news as she ate her breakfast, which was pancakes for today. She let out a small wince as she was using her left hand, that was covered in bandages since she had used that to break that glass case two days ago.

It wasn't long until she heard her phone ringing, and saw that it was Mei who was calling. So of course she took it. "What's up?"

"Hey, Mimi! Wanna ask if you were up for joining me, and Mk down in the arcade today. Without crazy monkey business this time.....hopefully." said Mei over the phone.

Miwa thought about it for a bit, since Macaque had fixed her little ear problem, let alone her hearing. She shouldn't have any trouble with loud sounds this time. "Sure, I'll meet you two there in a bit."

"Where are you going?" asked a voice behind her.

"What the fuck Wukong?!" Miwa almost dropped her plate of pancakes. "Stop sneaking into my apartment!"

"Hehehe! Well uh.. We have to go somewhere, and we need ALL the others, Heheh..." Wukong said, laughing almost nervously with what he was saying.

Miwa gave him a deadpanned look before letting out an annoyed sigh. "By the freaking buddha, can't I get one break from monkey business." She gets up and takes her plate over to the fridge to save the leftovers.

Wukong would be nervously chuckling at Miwa's remark. "Hehehe... B-By Buddha it's not just monkey business this time..heheh..." Wukong said, clearly nervous and sorrowful.

Miwa looked over at him with a raised eyebrow. "Are you gonna tell me where we are going, you old monkey?"

Wukong nodded. "Yoketsu Bar, 82nd Youjin Street. They allow Younglings, Get the other's there too." Wukong put his yellow hood up before walking to the designated area.

"Oooh, I think I've been there once or twice, with some old friends. But sure." Miwa pulled out her phone and started texting the others, not really thinking much about it, as she went to grab her keys and left the apartment.

*At the Yoketsu Bar, 82nd Youjin Street.*

Miwa easily got to the place by skating through the air, and it wasn't long until the others had arrived too.

"So why did Monkey King want us to come here?" Mei asked.

"Oh! I know maybe it's some super secret training technique that he wanna show!" said Mk excited.

"This has better be important, I have a business to run here." said Pigsy, crossing his arms.

"What happened to your hand, Miwa?" Sandy asked, noticing the bandages on her hand.

"I got into an accident?" Miwa gave a nervous smile, that looked similar to Wukong's whenever he gave one.

"What kind of accident?" Tang asked, raising a questionable eyebrow.

"A food accident." said Miwa, still having a nervous smile. She hadn't even told Wukong how she really got her hand covered in glass shards and blood. The only thing she had told him was that she was clumsy in a shop, and broke a vase made of glass.

Wukong took a serious tone on his voice, and a mournful one. "We're recruiting an old friend, Pigsy. But, She isn't doing well." Wukong said, sorrow and sadness clearly what his voice maintained mostly.

The group was confused but kept following Wukong, Pigsy now adorned a sorrowful expression as if he knew who it was.

When they entered the bar, It wasn't what the others expected. Even when Miwa went her other times it was different this time. Youkai were enjoying themselves it seemed but a crowd of around 6 sat at the bartop with sorrowful and mournful expressions and body posture.

A Youkai with Bear-like features waved at Wukong, calling over for him. "A-Ah..Sun-San..." The Bear Youkai said, mournful and seemingly saddened but was happy to see Wukong here already.

Miwa had taken a look around while following along with the others, while she had noticed it seemed different than the last time she was here. "Okay, this is very different."

"Wait, have you been here before Miwa?" Mk asked with a confused look along with Mei.

"I didn't take you for someone who visits places like this." said Mei, finding it a little weird.

Miwa gave a small smile but it seemed more sad. "I've been here two times, but let's just say the second time wasn't the best."

"Hey kids, focus. We can ask questions about her visits later." said Pigsy, getting the three's attention.

"Why do those people over there look sad?" Sandy questioned, noticing a small crowd with the same expression as Wukong.

"Did something bad happen?" Tang asked.

"At least it isn't a bar fight like the last time." Miwa thought to herself, shaking her head trying to forget about that when she was last here.

The Bear Youkai patted Wukong's shoulder before saying, "She's...To put it simply, Wasted to where her Magic doesn't even stop it...Get her help, Buddy." The Bear Youkai said to Wukong before walking away, letting the monkey king handle their friend.

"So we are helping a drunk person?" Miwa questioned, raising an eyebrow. "Shouldn't be surprised, being in this place."

"Miwa, She's not just a person, She's one of my first friend's." Wukong explained to her. "And..She hasn't ever been okay since "that" experience..." Wukong said solemnly before walking towards the girl and patting her head.

Miwa got a little more confused, but took it to be serious since he for once used her real name, instead the nicknames he gave her. "Okay, well for the first thing we should have her drink some water, and taken to some other place than here."

"We could take her back to my boat, I should have some tea that could help." Sandy suggested.

"Yeah, or we could take her to Pigsy's place and you bring the tea." said Miwa, no matter how many times she visited Sandy's place, she would still have her growing fear of water and the worry of the boat sinking one day.

Wukong just shook the girl's head. The group had a clearer view of the girl now, she had long pure white hair and pale skin. She wore a white winter coat on her back and under it was a black dress-shirt and white dress pants.

"Ughhh...W-Wuwie..?" The girl, sounding almost broken and innocent, looked rather young to be drinking but none of the Youkai batted an eye to it.

"Hey there Tiger..." Wukong said, He seemed really hurt and sad seeing the state she was in. Pigsy even held the same expression as Wukong, It was indeed odd.

"She really doesn't look good." said Mei, worried about how wasted she was.

"I can't believe they let young people into these places." said Mk just as worried.

"How could someone even allow minors to enter a bar?" Tang questioned, finding it disgusting.

"Nah..She isn't A minor, She just...Is suffering horribly." Pigsy said, His voice showing concern that never showed the light of day before.

"Poor thing, but drinking in a place isn't good when you are in a bad state." said Sandy concerned.

"Bad, Is an understatement..." Wukong said, sorrowfully. "Midnis, How many bottles has she had this time..?" Wukong questioned the bar-keep, being a sort of Bull youkai.

"666 Bottles of Galfar Vodka, Surprised she did even 97 bottles. 48. Pint bottles each." Midnis said, Which only the newcomers were shocked about it, Pigsy expressed surprise but not panic or shock like the others.

"That is a lot of bottles." said Miwa, a little surprised to hear this, but for a second something caught her attention. "....Ummm guys I know this isn't looking good, and I don't wanna be rude but could we maybe hurry it up a bit?" She seemed a little nervous about something, but wouldn't say what.

The others gave her a confused look as they hadn't seen her acting like this before, not even Mei and Mk and they had known her the longest since kindergarten.

Wukong acknowledged Miwa and kept patting the girl. "Cmon Akal, Cmon, We need you up and ready now!" Wukong said, trying to no avail to make the girl, known as Akal, have her magic automatically respond to her Drunken state.

Miwa was getting more nervous as she could hear three voices, that she didn't want to hear again. "This is why I don't come here anymore."

"Hey! Get out of the way!" shouted one of the guys who seemed to be the tallest.

"I told you guys! She was this way, that little demon girl, clearly didn't get the memo last time!" said the second guy being the second tallest.

Suddenly, Akal shot up from sitting and shaked her hair, Before putting it into a hair-band and into a ponytail before sighing. "Now, unless you runts have a death wish..." Akal spoke, her voice being loud and menacing,"Get the hell out of this establishment or I'll kill you." Akal said, turning her head to face the 3 boys with her "demonic" crimson eyes, her voice showing no intent on not staying true to her words but also showing malevolent truth to her actions she would gladly.

"Hey! We don't have any problems with you guys, but H-" The male was cut off by Akal.

"Shut. Up. Leave or Die." Akal was not going to let these absolute fodder excuses of tough-guys think they can wiggle out of this. "Anyone in this establishment I own who decides to cause violence, Dies or abides. This girl is under my protection in my territory." Akal said, her mouth practically emitting cold air from it from just her voice's tone alone.

The three guys looked nervous at each other, they gave Miwa one last look before walking away. But it was clear they were done, but at least for now they would leave her alone.

Suddenly, The 3 males came back as if they never left, Feeling a sort of pressure on they're legs. "I just remembered a funny detail...You 3 were the one's who hit a girl, Much like the one you wanted today with some of my bottles..And I was just too wasted to notice, Wasn't I..." Akal said, Walking slowly over to the male's, The pressure on they're legs, was pure and utter fear.

Miwa watched closely with the others, while they did hurt her last time she knew they had a reason for it. "Stop!" She walked over and got in front of Akal. "Just let them leave, they are just upset about something I did to them long ago. Nothing else, the last thing I want is them getting more hurt than they already are."

Akal stared coldly at Miwa. "They hold you accountable for a death they experienced, Correct?" Aka said, Her gaze now facing a wall rather than Miwa.

Miwa took a glance over at the three guys, and then the others by the surprised looked on their faces. She had never told anyone the bad stuff that happened with each foster family. "Even so, I don't want anymore pain to what they have been through. They can hate me as much as they want, but I don't wanna cause anymore trouble for them."

Akal Interrupted Miwa. "Does hurting you cause them to feel Better or Cause they're anger to quell? Does Hurting you give them what they lost back? And does hurting you matter when you are not the cause..?" Akal asked practically everyone in the room but also revealed information.

Miwa narrowed her eyes at her. "Does life even matter, because I don't fucking care." She turned around and was done talking, she wasn't one for sharing her personal life.

Akal smirked, before using her head to motion the boy's to leave, which they compelled and now were given a whole new sight that it wasn't Miwa but someone else.

Akal walked to the group. "Haha! Last Thing I expected from you little Wuwie was getting such a valiant, vulgar and neutral student!" Akal chuckled, calling Wukong, The Monkey King, The Victorious Fighting Buddha, Little Wuwie.

"Well, ummm that was a little awkward." said Mk, giving an awkward smile, but quickly focused on something else. "Little Wuwie! That's sooo cute!"

"I'm surprised Redson 2.0 didn't come out." said Mei, holding her phone as she was taking pictures.

Akal sighed, having a refreshed smile on her face from this feeling that she longed to feel again. "So, You came for me Wuwie?" Akal asked Wukong, grabbing her white trench-coat and putting it on.

"If you don't mind me asking, how do you two know each other?" Tang asked, taking out a notebook to write down any info he could get.

"Simplest Answer, Time. Unless you have a spare millennia or 2 to write it down, You'll get not even 3% of it." Akal said, pushing the topic down the burner for now.

"Oh! I have a question, what is your favorite animal!" Mei asked with excitement.

"Swan." Akal answered bluntly, Before having her white trench-coat on fully now and turning to Wukong to ask again. "Are you here for me to join you once more, Yes or no?" Akal said, the coldness in her voice causing her breath to even come out while talking.

A smile grew on Wukong's face. "Yes, that's why I brought the others so they could meet you."

Akal chuckled. "Good, You still owe me big-time anyways." Akal said, and to Wukong, That meant she was full-time.

"Wouldn't have it any other way." said Wukong, smiling brightly at her.

"Hey guys, where did Miwa go?" Mei asked, since she couldn't see her anywhere let alone the others.

"Maybe it got too loud in here for her? She did have a lot of problems with loud sounds just two days ago." said Mk, remembering the painful look on her face whenever a sound was made.

Akal walked away, Waving at Midinis which he knew meant he was in charge now. Akal then Teleported to Miwa, Going to talk with her.

Miwa had left the bar and used the air to get up on a roof so she could be alone, and to avoid running into anymore trouble. "I don't wanna talk to you, damn old monkey."

"It isn't him, It's me." It was Akal, Miwa knew her voice so it made her know immediately it was her. Akal sat next to Miwa on the roof, letting her speak first.

Miwa took a small glance at her, shaking her head as she was getting a headache but ignored it. "You didn't have to threaten their lives, even if they were being rude."

"If anyone comes into my establishment with the intent of harming a customer, I will threaten their lives. It's why Yoketsu Bar never has any bar fights normally." Akal said, referring to the bar fight that happened with Miwa that she couldn't stop.

"Even so, I could have just led them outside of the bar like last time. It's not like I haven't run into this before, I am used to it." said Miwa.

"What does the word demon mean to you, Miwa?" Akal asked suddenly.

"Someone who causes trouble for others, and should stay away from." said Miwa, not even giving it a thought.

"Bahahahah!!" Akal suddenly burst out laughing hearing what Miwa said. "That?" That's it? Man, It seems like Mortal's without chaos lose fear." Akal said, almost instantly returning to her calm demeanor.

Miwa looked over at her with a raised eyebrow. "I mean, it was pretty fitting for my...." She stopped as she was getting another headache, as if some memory was running through her head but was all blurry.

"You're no demon, If you were, Wukong and Macaque would've slain you the second either one saw you. You have friends who follow you and love you, Hell, you even have a crush. If you were a demon, You would've stopped me from potentially killing those boys and done it yourself, You would've loved that you were to blame for all of it, you would've loved to hold grudges against those who wronged you. That's a Demon, You're not that." Akal explained, Almost as if she knew what being demon is or was herself.

Miwa looked over at her, a little confused. "What do you mean with this Macaque guy?"

"Is he still doing that little Shadow show thing but won't even tell those he helps his name? Ugh!" Akal said, expressing fake annoyance but truly she was annoyed at herself for spoiling Maraque's fun.

Miwa simply shook her head, she had promised Macaque to keep the secret that he was around, so she hadn't told anyone about it. But hearing this made her more confused. She tried thinking over it but she was getting a serious headache, that for a moment her eyes were glowing gold for a second before going back to normal.

"Why Does Shutendoji-sama have to make me feel like I'm back with Nalia again..." Akal said in her locked thought-space, thinking of a certain Gracious Elder and God-kin from a ninja realm she liked the food of.

"I'm heading back home, tell the others that I left and if you see Wukong, let him know I will put up traps if he keeps sneaking into my fucking apartment." said Miwa, but didn't really mean it with Wukong, but she didn't mind messing with him. Like a kid messing with their parents.

"Two step's ahead of you. They're aware already and I'll be with you, Plus Wuwie will not be passing my magic, trust me." Akal said mischievously, before teleporting the two of them to her apartment and closing Miwa's room's door before entering her Mana orb she formed which let her forcefully sleep if she needed it.

"Interesting trick, but how did you know where I live?" Miwa questioned.

"Magic." Akal answered simply before entering her mana sphere to forcefully sleep without any dreams, hopefully.

"Great, so not only does the old monkey know where I live and can get in, but Akal too. I swear if Macaque appears one day in my apartment, I'm gonna lose it with these three." Miwa thought to herself walking to her bedroom with a heavy sigh.
