Ezra's POV
"I am really sorry about this, Ezra. I thought you were also enjoying all this, but I didn't realize I was doing the wrong thing," he replied.
His face became gloomy, like a puppy whose owner had left him. I glanced around to see if any boats were near us.
Thank god, the other boats were far away. But when I looked at him again, he was crying.
I was shocked—who would believe that Sylven could cry like this? Tears were falling from his eyes, and he was hiccuping like a child.
I stood up, sat down beside him, and touched his hand.
"Sylven, why are you crying all of a sudden? By any chance, are you feeling unwell?" I asked, and he glanced at me with that teary face.
"I am sorry, Ezra. Because of me, you're wet now."
I really felt pity for him. The way he was apologizing to me while crying—he looked so adorable. I stretched out my hand and wiped his tears.
