Mai Shiranui had been burning with desire outside the door, listening intently. As soon as she entered the prison cell, she tore off her clothes and threw herself into Shikamaru's arms, engaging in a passionate struggle.
Only after satisfying Mai's hunger did Shikamaru finally release his seed within her, his own desires sated.
After instructing Mai to take Nami home, Shikamaru vanished in a flash. Sakura had reminded him earlier that she needed to introduce him to her mother today.
"Sakura! Have you been waiting long?" Shikamaru's figure appeared atop Hokage Rock, addressing Sakura, who stood alone, enjoying the gentle breeze.
"Shikamaru!" Sakura exclaimed joyfully upon seeing him, throwing herself into his arms. "Not at all! I just got here myself!" she said softly.
"Ah..." Shikamaru reached out to embrace her, but a sudden, sharp pain in his side made him cry out in agony.
"Hmph! After waiting so long for you, you were off getting cozy with some woman..." Sakura's sudden shift in mood stemmed from detecting the lingering scent of Shikamaru's intimate encounters with Nami and Mai Shiranui.
"Heh heh..." Shikamaru could only force an awkward smile through the pain. "Let's go see your aunt now," he suggested.
"Hmph~ I'll let you off for now, just because you're coming to see my mom with me!" Sakura huffed playfully.
She then wrapped her arm intimately around Shikamaru's, leading him toward her home. Along the way, villagers cast warm, curious glances their way.
"Look! Isn't that Shikamaru-sama?" a villager exclaimed.
"What... no way! Shikamaru-sama, the Shadow Lord, is so young..." Some villagers who were seeing Shikamaru for the first time whispered in astonishment.
"Who's that girl beside him? She's so beautiful! Shikamaru-sama sure has good fortune with women..." Another villager sighed, noticing Sakura clinging intimately to Shikamaru's arm.
"If only I could be so lucky to hold Shikamaru-sama like that..." a lovestruck villager murmured, her eyes gleaming.
Ignoring the villagers' whispers, Shikamaru continued forward with Sakura's slender waist firmly in his grasp. As they rounded a corner, they unexpectedly ran into a familiar figure: Naruto, with his signature yellow hair.
"S... Sakura... Shikamaru... y-you... you two..." Naruto stammered, pointing at Shikamaru and Sakura in utter shock as he saw Sakura clinging so closely to Shikamaru.
"Naruto! It's you!" Shikamaru greeted him with amusement, deliberately pulling Sakura even closer into his embrace.
"Naruto! Don't block our way. I need to take Shikamaru home," Sakura said coolly, her brow furrowing slightly. Since returning, she seemed to have grown quite annoyed with Naruto.
"Sakura! When did you start hanging out with this guy?" Naruto demanded loudly, as if he hadn't heard her words. "Didn't you used to like Sasuke?"
Shikamaru's brow also furrowed slightly at Naruto's words. Who could be this dense? he wondered.
Hearing Naruto's words, Sakura glanced back at Shikamaru, her worry deepening. Seeing his furrowed brow, she immediately assumed he was upset about her past feelings for Sasuke, and her heart began to race.
"Shikamaru... I..." After falling into Shikamaru's arms, Sakura had never explained why she had fallen for him. Now, she called out his name timidly, terrified he might abandon her.
Looking down at Sakura's pitiful expression, Shikamaru smiled faintly. He immediately understood her fear. He wouldn't get angry over Sasuke, the man was dead, after all.
Shikamaru said nothing, lowering his head to kiss Sakura deeply, proving he didn't care. Sakura, startled at first, eagerly returned the kiss, their tongues tangling together. Not just Naruto, but the surrounding villagers stared in shock at the scene.
"Naruto! Sakura is my woman now. You'd better show some respect. Move aside, I need to go to her house!" Shikamaru said calmly, his gaze immediately shifting to Naruto, who was now seething with anger.
"Ah... damn it! Shikamaru, I challenge you!" Naruto roared, clenching his fists and thrusting them toward Shikamaru. In Naruto's eyes, Sakura's current state was all Shikamaru's fault. (And he wasn't wrong.)
"If you want a challenge, follow me..." Shikamaru's brow furrowed even deeper. It seemed Naruto wouldn't learn until he was taught a lesson. Eager to avoid a public confrontation, he immediately agreed.
Watching Shikamaru lead Sakura out of the village, Naruto followed with bloodshot eyes.
"Shadow Clone Technique!"
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
As Naruto's words echoed across the spacious training ground, over a hundred shadow clones instantly surrounded Shikamaru. Sakura watched calmly from a nearby tree, showing no concern for Shikamaru's fate.
"Everyone, attack together! Turn Shikamaru into a pig's head!" Naruto roared at his clones, and they all surged toward Shikamaru in the center.
"Shadow Ninja Art - Thousand Birds Torrent!"
Shikamaru's lazy voice rang out as brilliant black lightning erupted from his body. The dark electricity enveloped his form, and every shadow clone that touched him shattered with a pop.
But it didn't end there. The lightning around Shikamaru surged outward in a violent burst, instantly engulfing all the remaining clones.
Thousand Birds Torrent was an enhanced version of Chidori Stream, allowing Shikamaru to not only generate Chidori around his body but also project it outward.
"Ah..." The real Naruto, hidden among his clones, was also struck by Shikamaru's dark lightning. He screamed in pain as he was sent flying backward, wisps of black electricity still crackling around him.
"What's the verdict? Still want to continue?" Shikamaru asked coldly, observing Naruto's battered state.
"Damn it! Don't underestimate me!" Naruto roared, charging at Shikamaru once more. He unleashed the Shadow Clone Technique again, this time creating two thousand clones.
"Go! Naruto Lion Barrage, two thousand strikes!" All of Naruto's shadow clones surged toward Shikamaru.
"Idiot!" Sakura muttered from the tree, realizing that sheer numbers couldn't compensate for skill.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Thousand Kill Ice Shuriken!"
Shikamaru hissed the incantation, and countless black ice senbon coalesced around him. The Thousand Kill Ice Shuriken was derived from Haku's Thousand Kill Water Shuriken, but with far greater destructive power.
As the swarm of Narutos hung in mid-air, the world seemed to freeze. Countless thin black lines pierced the space, immobilizing every shadow clone. With a series of pops, the clones exploded into nothingness. Naruto's real body screamed as he was sent flying backward once more.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Dark Shadow Monstrous Strength Konoha Whirlwind!"
Before Naruto could even hit the ground, Shikamaru's figure flashed behind him. With a high-level taijutsu kick, he sent Naruto hurtling back in the opposite direction.
"Ugh!" Struck by the devastating blow, Naruto inevitably spat out a mouthful of blood. Boom! His body crashed into a massive boulder, burying him beneath the shattered fragments.
"Sakura, let's go," Shikamaru said softly, appearing beside her. Naruto was likely unconscious beneath the rubble. Shikamaru wasn't worried about him dying; let him stay buried there and reflect on his actions.
"Mm!" Sakura wrapped her arms around Shikamaru affectionately, completely captivated by his cool demeanor.
"Looking for death..." Shikamaru suddenly growled coldly, turning to face behind them. Naruto erupted from the shattered stone, his body wreathed in the red chakra of the Nine-Tailed Beast. Four tails of red chakra swayed behind him.
"Roar!" Naruto roared like a feral beast, his eyes devoid of reason. He transformed into a streak of red light and shot toward Shikamaru with ten times the speed he had shown before.
"Shadow Ninjutsu - Dark Shadow Konoha Whirlwind!"
Bang!
No matter how fast Naruto moved, Shikamaru's kick sent him flying again. This time, however, Naruto managed to block with both arms, preventing any serious injury.
"Cursed Seal - Nine-Tailed Fox Claw Transformation!"
Seeing Naruto's Chakra beast transformation, Shikamaru didn't hold back. His right hand instantly transformed into the claw of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox!
Boom!
With a single swipe, he sent Naruto flying again.
Boom! Crash! Rumble!
Naruto crashed into the ground, shattering boulders as he landed. Dust and smoke billowed across the battlefield. By the time Shikamaru reappeared unscathed beside Sakura, the Nine-Tailed Beast's Chakra had already receded from Naruto's body. The bloodied, tattered figure lay in a massive crater, his breathing barely audible.
Using his True Shadow, which was currently possessing Shizune, Shikamaru immediately ordered her to summon medical personnel to treat Naruto. Shizune had become the Chief of Konoha Hospital, while Tsunade's personal attendant had been replaced by Karin, whom Shikamaru had recently recruited. Karin's sharp mind and calm demeanor made her the perfect choice.
"Sakura! Let's go! Naruto wasted so much of our time!" Shikamaru said, wrapping his arm around her.
"Hmph~ Serves him right!" Sakura glanced back at Naruto, her voice dripping with disdain. Without a shred of sympathy, she muttered under her breath before hurrying home with Shikamaru.
"Shikamaru-sama! Thank you! Thank you for bringing Sakura back to Konoha! I'm so grateful!"
In Sakura's home, her mother, Haruno Mebuki, a woman of gentle grace and practiced skill, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Shikamaru. She had been overjoyed to see Sakura return a few days earlier. Only after hearing Sakura's explanation did Mebuki realize it was Shikamaru's intervention that had saved her daughter from being branded a Missing-nin. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Mebuki had prepared a lavish feast of her signature dishes to honor Shikamaru.
"Heh heh! It's nothing," Shikamaru chuckled awkwardly. "Sakura's my woman now. This is only natural..." After all, I'm the one who drove her away in the first place! His gaze inevitably drifted to Mebuki.
Beneath her composed demeanor and modest attire, her ample chest remained undeniable. Her fair, delicate skin made it clear Sakura had inherited her mother's beauty. As Shikamaru's gaze lingered, his eyes grew heated. He had already learned from Sakura on the way back that her father had passed away years ago.
"Shikamaru-sama! Please, eat more!" Mebuki urged, her cheeks flushing slightly under Shikamaru's intense gaze.
"Hmph~ You perverted Shikamaru! Don't even think about my mom!" Sakura, witnessing Shikamaru's lecherous stare at her mother, huffed indignantly and pinched him sharply.
Sakura wasn't particularly angry. After all, she had already witnessed Shikamaru making love to Ino and her mother at his house. At the time, she had even thought how wonderful it would be if she and her own mother could share such intimacy with Shikamaru. Her mother had been lonely for so many years!
"Heh heh... Let's eat, let's eat..." Shikamaru chuckled awkwardly, immediately burying his face in his food. He repeatedly praised Sakura's mother's cooking, saying he wished he could eat her meals every day.
"Aunt!" After finishing his meal, Shikamaru called out to Sakura's mother as Sakura went to wash the dishes.
"Shikamaru! What is it?" Having grown comfortable with him during the meal, Sakura's mother no longer addressed him as "Shikamaru-sama."
"Aunt, Sakura will be living with me from now on," Shikamaru said slowly. As he spoke, Sakura's mother's eyes dimmed slightly. "It must be lonely living here alone. Why don't you move in with us? Our place is big and lively!"
"Ah... this..." Sakura's mother gasped softly, her delicate face flushing red under Shikamaru's earnest gaze.
She had heard plenty of rumors about Shikamaru, especially his reputation as a womanizer with numerous lovers. It was even said that he had taken in Ino's mother and Tenten's mother (though rumors claimed Tenten's mother was already his). Hearing Shikamaru's words, Sakura's mother immediately understood his intentions. She panicked, unsure how to react.
"Mom! Just say yes..."
