"Hmm~ They must know by now," Terumi Mei mused. "I'll just wait for them to come and gauge their intentions." The "them" she referred to were, of course, the other three great ninja villages, excluding Konoha.

Now, Shikamaru had inadvertently done them a great service.
Madara then looked up at the sky. Though it wasn't yet dark, the evening sky already held a faint moon hanging on the horizon. A slight smirk curled his lips as he muttered, "Heh! Ten-Tailed Beast... I'll help release you... The price will be your power... Heh heh..."
In the Hokage's Office, Shikamaru and Tsunade were both present, Shikamaru studying the intelligence reports on the table with a slight frown. He hadn't expected Uchiha Madara to disseminate the information to the various Ninja Villages so quickly. Space-Time Ninjutsu really comes in handy!
"Husband! What should we do now? The Five Great Shinobi Villages will definitely seize this opportunity to unite and attack Konoha!" Tsunade asked Shikamaru anxiously.
"Heh heh! Don't worry. The Five Great Shinobi Villages uniting was inevitable. What else could they do when we're so overwhelmingly powerful?" Shikamaru chuckled, his tone surprisingly relaxed despite Tsunade's concern.
"Tsunade! Tomorrow, immediately issue orders for offensive missions against Cloud Village, Rock Village, and Kirigakure. We won't wait to be attacked, let's give them a surprise! We'll strike first!" Shikamaru declared softly, his words leaving Tsunade stunned.
A Great Ninja War... sounds exciting. Shikamaru had previously regretted not transmigrating sooner to experience the thrill of the Great Ninja War. Now, igniting the conflict himself would be even more exhilarating.
