Eitan shot Jan an icy look, and Ava had to purse her lips to stop herself from smiling. It seemed to her that his friend knew him a little too well.
'Still, I don't think he's that much of an asshole…' She thought, stealing a glance Eitan's way.
Eitan offered her a hand. "He's the one we've been waiting for. He's going to be the witness to our marriage." He said as he helped her up. "Let's go find the registrar. I already gave him prior notice a few weeks ago."
Ava nodded as they started to make their way deeper into the building. There were a few people they passed by, but She wasn't sure she could count up to ten of them.
But at least, it wasn't completely empty.
Soon enough, the three of them sighted a wooden door a few meters away from them and at last, the reality of what she was about to get herself into finally hit her and her palms broke out in cold sweat.
Ava paused, forcing Eitan to stop along with her. "Are you alright?"
