Eitan raised a questioning brow. "It's an engagement ring, what else does it look like?"
Ava stared at him, her face had drained of all it's colour. "You–you're giving me an engagement ring? Why?"
"Because you're going to be my wife." Eitan tilted his head. "Isn't that normal?"
Ava swallowed, her eyes moving to the ring on her middle finger, it was shockingly the perfect fit. 'How… how did he even know my size? And is this a real diamond? Unbelievable…'
"I–I don't think I can take this." She said after a while, making an attempt to pull the ring off her finger.
"Why not?" Eitan asked, genuinely curious as he gently placed a hand over hers to stop her from doing so.
"Because it's too precious to be given to someone like me." Ava told him.
