Ava's eyes went wide at his words. She then lowered her head and whispered, "Thank you…"
She didn't dare think too deeply into what he meant by that. There was no way he was actually congratulating her from the bottom of his heart. He probably just thought it was a necessity.
All three of them waited at the entrance of the marriage registry for several minutes. Soon enough, the Registrar came to them with a laminated certificate in hand, passing it over to Eitan.
Eitan took a glance at it and nodded. "A pleasure working with you." He said, reaching out a hand toward him.
"Likewise, Mr. Berger." The registrar answered taking his hand. "I will send a copy of this to the civil affairs bureau in the next hour, so your marriage can be registered with the government."
"Very well. I will wait for the news of it's upload." Eitan responded with a nod as he took Ava's hand in his, making her flinch. "We'll be leaving now."
