"Fate brought us together outside of troubled times…" Rachel came out from the restroom just as her phone started ringing.
She had splashed cold water on her face, afraid that Cora would wake up and see her looking all messed up.
As she stepped out, her eyes drifted to Kellan, still working at his desk, looking just as handsome and elegant as always.
Rachel secretly wished lightning would just strike him right there!
The call was from Faith. She had worked late and wanted to hitch a ride home with Rachel.
"Um… that might not be convenient," Rachel said, feeling kinda awkward.
She wasn't sure if Faith had seen her arrive earlier, and she didn't want to cause any misunderstandings. "I'm currently the driver for President Elliott."
Rachel heard a sharp gasp from the other end of the line. She was the CEO's driver?!
Faith was totally stunned.
