They all went to do different things after all they thought it would take long so they all took a day of from there respective fields be it in school or at there work places. Sebastian being tired went to bed directly as he knew that no one would disturb him after telling those curious children everything. He felt really good and so light so he lay on his bed and sleep took over him immediately.
Charline went to the kitchen because all she could think about was how good the food was so she went to get the recipes and also learn from them, more importantly was to see if there was food left after all she was hungry from the thought of food. To her the food felt like home so why give it up because with such delicacies she could give anything to have them all the time. As she made her way to the kitchen she met Wendy the maid who had shown them the location to there picknick was located. The friendly maid introduced her to the cooks after she heard her say she wanted to learn and at the same time help in the kitchen after all who would refuse a free helping hand.
The cook a middle aged man as most people around called him was overly polite but also funny and talkative. As they got used to each other he kept telling the stories of both carter and Kevin but they were just the basic stories so she wasn't that intrested and just listened as she chopped the vegetables she had been given to cut them to pieces. It was lively inside there that it didn't feel like she was in a different setting and place because of the warmth from its occupants it felt more welcoming.
As for Carter he took his little son Buddy for a walk, they are always glued together so everyone told him that he was more of Buddy's dad than its friend as he always tells them. They went to the bank of the lake as they sat there breathing in the fresh air. Buddy lay beside him wagging his tail as it looked towards a direction and that's when he saw the familiar features but he couldn't pin point whose figure it was but he had a bad feeling about it. The feeling became a reality when he saw Scarlet who was now too near.
He tried to make his escape but he knew that his attempts were futile as Buddy looked at him as though he had lost a head but he was too panicked to think straight after all the rude things he said to her when they first met made him feel embarrassed of himself.

"So cute... When you blush on my god.. , "she gushed at the adorable being in front of him but her hands were slapped that the stinging made her cone back to her senses. She thought about having such a cute boyfriend would be more fun she could get to pinch those cheeks anytime.
" Well sorry about that and also last time too for talking rudely to you and I wasn't trying to run away when I saw you , I just wanted to apologise to you in person after all I shouldn't have judged you by the rumors going around so I'm sorry. "He bowed his head as he signaled Buddy that it was time to go for it and run but for the first time he didn't listen to him and instead sat down more comfortably as if enjoying a good show. He was embarrassed enough and his little companion just added to it as he saw Scarlet going near him and patting his head casually as if they knew each other for a long time.
" You aren't running I see but why are you in a hurry, I've forgiven you a long time ago and I'm used to such things but thanks, you know you are the first person to ever come to apologise to me so I'm greatful so can we be friends? "She was genuinely happy for the first time someone showed respect and went out of there own way to say sorry for misjudging her, it was new but it made her like Carter more for that.
Through at first he liked his face that had been hidden behind the thick glasses but seeing him without them made his face more handsome. He was a person born with a natural beauty and she appreciated that beauty. She liked his face still but his manners were good too making him likable.
"So what are you doing here I've never seen you around here the few times I came to visit. "He said as he pet Buddy beside him letting the soft fluffy fur pass through his fingers as it was too entertaining than just listening or watching the surface water.
" I live here I moved in a long time ago about a year I'm the one who has never seen you around here is this your home?" Asked a curious Scarlet because she new that getting to the buildings around that mountain were as hard as obtaining a pure diamond, so if he didn't own it then it belonged to his parents. Carter shook his head giving her a negative answer as he explained to he about everything.
They sat there bathing in the, warmth of the morning sun as they felt the peace and tranquility at the moment without any noise around them except for the constant pants, coming from Buddy.
