What brought the two who were now arguing about something that the onlookers couldn't understand, all they could hear were the two voices trying to prove there point making it seem like two fools arguing over nothing in particular. There argument was over nothing actually except that they could not accept that one of them knew Carter better than the other.
They had made a bet on it after all who ever knows Carter better would do whatever the other say which was a stupid game from the very onset because such things lead to meaningless answer and no one would ever accept defeat at the end. They had started well because they all wanted to monopolise the Carter but they forgot that Carter had buddy at the time and had given the little minion all his attention.
Then came the , "I told you he likes horor movies, "one pointed at the other trying to give his point while the other was like, " I told you he likes sci fic, "the two continued with the baseless topic about the horror and sci fic to the point Carter had to go between them after all he never understood what sci-fic and horror got to do at the topics or whatever they were doing.
What are you two making so much noise about the whatever you guys, are talking about, you're making unnecessary noise and making our ears go numb at this point, " he said pointing at the dumbfounded servants and neighbours who were looking at the not so fun spectacle. The two stopped due to being too embarrassed they never thought that they could ganner such a crowd due to a pointless conflict.
They took Carter on either side as they pulled him inside the house as he tried to separate himself from the two but it was pointless as they dragged him inside like the lightest piece of sack, he looked back asking Scarlet for help but he got her giggles in response as she followed them close by.

He took a step to walk away from the two but they held his hands that is under the condition that he answers there question truthfully which he readily agreed on as long as they leave him alone afterwards.

"Non I just watch what is interesting and I'm more interested in books than movies can I go now. "They nodded as they complained about loosing a simple question as such and what's more was that they never had about how they were told off to be useful somewhere else as they sat and went about with what they had been doing all along.
Carter who thought the two would be displeased saw them sit leisurely on the sofa as they continue with whatever game they were playing. His hope was that they don't wake Sebastian up after all doing it once was bad enough but twice there would be some spanking for sure this time.
Not waking up though it was too noisy showed how tired the old man was and who knows how it would end if they woke him up.

"Heard you saying you liked books come take a look at the books, at my place you might find something interesting to read. " the thought about finding new books was so tempting that he agreed immediately as he followed her to her place.
The place was so neat and the smell of old books made him feel jumpy as he looked around at the mini library and found rare books and arts that were fascinating to leave so he sat down and started reading by the time he realised it was past nine at night making him scold himself for being too emersed in his reading to realise how time passed.
Scarlet was sleeping peacefully head on the table which felt uncomfortable even to him who was not sleeping. He tried waking her up but she never even moved, she slept like the dead he thought to himself. He carriered her to a mini bed he had seen as they went to look at the books and lay her there.
