Auther ran to Carter wondering what had happened to him but then he remembered a crucial information his brother was afraid of pain the most meaning he was feeling the pain so he connected the dots quickly and realized that he was feeling the pain instead of Charline who was standing not far a, way and furthermore she felt nothing and thinking that her master was crying because of her he reasured him quickly as she held his hands.
"Don't worry it doesn't hurt at all , " she brought her cheeks closer to Carter to see but he was in so much pain that he never heard what he was told and just nodded saying it was okay as he wanted too rub the cheek but he never wanted Charline to realise that he received all the pain instead of her so he tried to act as normal as possible.
The father upon seeing such a scene in front of him wanted to beat the hell out of the kids and he raised his hand again to give a slap to the unlucky person who was found in the cross fire and Charline protected the brothers so as not to get hurt but they heard someone clear his throat. They all looked at the same direction only to see the two whom they all forgot existed in the same room as them.
Sebastian and Kevin were seated leisurely drinking some juice which nobody knew when and how they access them. Upon seeing Sebastian Copper changed his expression to that of an innocent victim as he tried to help his, wife who was still on the floor. Well those two were birds of the same feather whose acting skills had been improved and improvised so that's where Auther learnt acting. " he moved towards the kitchen area as if the house, was his and prepared coffee in a mug and sat down leisurely not caring about the questioning looks the kids were giving them.

"The kids nodded as for the adults the hatred in the air could be felt from a far seriously another confrontation just the thought of it made Carter want to faint and so he pretended to faint after all he wanted everyone to leave his house without without having to say it himself. He was caught before he hit the ground and as for Copper and his wife left immediately he fell, Auther carried him to his room to rest while the others waited in the small cramped space in the place he could call his waiting room but it would have been better if they waited outside.
He let out a sigh forgetting that he was still in someone's arms who threw him down as if he were a hot potato bag making him hurt his hinds which were left vulnerable at the time.
"I knew you were pretending but wasn't sure, you wanted them gone so why not just tell them to there, face instead of making others worry about you especially Kevin and his dad they care about you a lot. "He had a small smile on his face as he stared at his brother on the floor with tears which he was holding so as not to embarass himself in front of the younger one but the sight made him seem as if he were pouting and shedding tears because he had been denied a candy.
Auther pinched his cheeks as they were too tempting as he wanted to have a bite but controlled himself back after all he had left a mark from last night and he never wanted his misdeeds to be known soon.
" I realised that we don't look like both our parents not even the grandparents so who do we look like? "That's something that had been bugging him since he saw there parents after all he thought that they took after one of them.
" Well that's. a long story, we take after an ancestor, more like the first ancestor because his paint was all over our grandparents place but later stored in a secret room I heard that was after you moved in but you took after him in everything including the hair colour and the eye colour too. He also had the same abilities as you the records must also be in the same room. "He patted Carter's head as if he were a kid but is hand was slapped away.

Carter was happy after all he has those who cared and took care of him so why care about his parents words., even though the universe was cruel once it gave him happiness and good people around him so he never lost instead he gained a lot and he was thankful.
When they opened the door he had the laughter coming from the room and they were laughing at how his acting sucks but the two still believed it. He knew they would talk about his acting but hearing it from them made him embarrassed to the point he wanted to shut the door and go back inside the room he came.
Auther joined the group and the house felt so warm and welcoming he rarely saw, such sites, except when he visited Sebastian's place when both Kevin and Sebastian always bicker or gossip about there partners and laugh it off as if it was nothing. He knew that to them he was worth more and could give anything for him to be safe. That's how much they loved him unconditionally he knew that if possible they would have, adopted him if he hadn't refused. He smiled as he took a seat beside Auther.
