Chapter 24 - Nano Battlesuit

[Detected item: Nano Battle Suit. Would you like to extract it from the movie? Yes/No]

At first, Chen Mo thought something had gone wrong. But once he realized it was just a prompt window, he relaxed—nothing out of the ordinary.

Extracting the nano battle suit from the movie had been the plan from the beginning. There was no need to hesitate.

"Confirm extraction of the Nano Battle Suit," Chen Mo murmured in his heart.

He then activated his ability, and that mysterious yet rational force surged forth.

The system's fully charged usage slot was instantly depleted.

[Due to the massive technological disparity between the two worlds, only the final product of the Nano Battle Suit can be extracted—its supporting technology cannot be brought out. Host is advised to accelerate the advancement of mother planet's science and technology. Once the tech gap narrows, extraction of additional items will become easier. In the future, even fantasy and supernatural content may become accessible—but the price will be steep.]

Chen Mo stared at the newly popped-up notification, momentarily stunned, then overjoyed.

He had already prepared himself for the possibility that extracting the Nano Battle Suit might fail and had even set up a backup plan. He hadn't expected it to succeed.

That's right.

As far as he was concerned, this counted as a success.

The tech behind it didn't matter at all.

His goal was never to mass-produce the Nano Battle Suit—it was simply to use it for self-preservation.

Besides, on the mother planet, even miniature nuclear fusion hadn't been achieved yet. The very first-generation Iron Man suits were still far beyond reach, let alone advanced nano armor.

Even if he had the blueprints and technical knowledge, without the necessary scientific foundation, there would be no way to manufacture the suit.

And even if, by some miracle, he could manufacture it…

Chen Mo still wouldn't produce them in bulk. The entire point of having the Nano Battle Suit was to give himself an edge—if everyone had one, it wouldn't serve as a lifesaver anymore.

Chen Mo gripped the Nano Battle Suit tightly in his right hand, and the device instantly glowed blue. It felt slightly cold and soft to the touch—rather comfortable, actually.

He could feel strong resistance.

Holding the suit made it nearly impossible to withdraw his hand from the movie.

He gritted his teeth and slowly began pulling his right hand back. Since the system had given the green light, it had to be possible—just a bit tricky.

From this experience, Chen Mo learned something important: when extracting items from movies, if the tech gap is too large, only complete products can be brought out. Supporting technologies can't.

And the greater the disparity, the stronger the resistance.

Chen Mo theorized that if the resistance passed a certain threshold, it might become entirely impossible to extract anything.

Moments later…

His right hand burst through the computer screen, breaking through the two-dimensional barrier, and returned to the real world.

Looking down at his hand, a faint smile crept across his lips. His heart pounded with excitement.

The Nano Battle Suit!

He remembered watching Iron Man and seeing Tony Stark don the Iron Suit—challenging gods as a mere mortal and laughing in the face of danger.

He had been so envious back then.

And now, finally, he had a Nano Battle Suit of his own.

Chen Mo stretched out both hands, watching the blue light gradually fade from the Nano Battle Suit, revealing its true form.

This version of the suit had been designed to be the size of a fist, so it didn't need the same kind of compression transformation as the Red Queen's host system.

The Nano Battle Suit was circular—almost like a jade pendant.

Touching it gave off a gentle warmth, and it glowed faintly with blue light.

At first glance, it looked highly futuristic.

No one really knew how Tony had managed to shrink such advanced tech into something that small.

After a moment of excitement, Chen Mo calmed down and decided to wear the suit the same way Tony did—hung from the chest. It was compact, didn't interfere with his movement, and had great concealment.

Of course, a wristband-style version would have been even better.

But…

You can't have everything.

Chen Mo tied a string around it and hung it from his neck. Since the Nano Battle Suit was only about half a centimeter thick when minimized, it didn't create a noticeable bulge under his clothes.

Perfect.

He muttered excitedly to himself.

Then a desire welled up inside him—he wanted to try it out.

Right now, he felt like a child who had just gotten an Ultraman transformation device. He couldn't resist the urge to transform and become a superhero.

That was exactly the vibe.

And Chen Mo wasn't one to hesitate once he made a decision.

He clapped his right hand and had Red Queen input the activation command into the Nano Battle Suit.

As if triggered, the Nano Battle Suit began to transform—blue light surged out from his chest, forming a thin layer of nanomaterial.

It was like putting on clothes, but in this case, the suit grew outward from the chest, gradually covering his limbs and finally his head.

In just a few seconds…

Chen Mo was fully encased in the Nano Battle Suit, standing tall like a god of war.

He tried clenching his fist. The moment he had the thought, his body reacted—there was no delay, and his movements weren't hampered in the slightest by the suit.

Excellent.

Chen Mo threw a light punch forward. A sonic boom erupted in front of him as terrifying force surged outward.

He nearly lost control.

Stumbling back a little, he barely managed to keep his balance—thanks to his naturally good coordination.

Still, he was beyond thrilled.

No wonder it's called the Nano Battle Suit.

As Tony Stark once said: with the Nano Battle Suit, a mere human can stand shoulder to shoulder with gods.

What an arrogant claim.

But now that Chen Mo had experienced it for himself, he realized—it wasn't an exaggeration at all.

With this suit, a mortal really could rival the divine.

The power, the sensation—words couldn't describe it. Only someone who had worn the Nano Battle Suit could truly understand.

"Master, your Nano Battle Suit seems pretty powerful. Want to take it for a flight? I'll run a test to measure its maximum flight speed." Suddenly, Red Queen's voice chimed in from the television, and her projection appeared in front of Chen Mo—still in the form of a red-dressed loli.

"Alright," Chen Mo nodded. But then something occurred to him, and he asked, "Red Queen, now that I'm wearing the Nano Battle Suit, will it affect our communication?"

"Not at all. Relax! As long as you've got your earpiece on and it's charged, we'll always be in contact. Whether you're wearing the Nano Battle Suit or flying through the sky in it," Red Queen said with a light smile.
