Alessio had an absent smile on his face as he summoned servants to prepare him a bath. There was still some time until lunch, and although it was previously used as an excuse, he had no need of a bath.
But he was going to take one anyway, he hoped it would help him calm down, a faint flush on his skin as he undid his cravat.
Soon he was laying in his bathtub, the soothing scent of lavender rising in pillowy clouds of steam. His satin black hair flowed over the edge of the finely crafted tub, steam making it look glossy.
Alessio sank into the purple-hued water, the water rising up to cover his slender neck and lap at his jaw. He took in deep breaths, feeling soothed by the bath - he could almost take a nap here.
He hadn't been sleeping well recently, and only by napping in his mother's garden could he get some rest. His mother didn't even complain about his bad habit, she only gave him looks of concern.
