Silvan wanted to right away deny that it wasn't fine, but he was greedy, he wanted to talk to the Vampire a while longer.
"Can I come in?" He invited himself, uncharacteristically shameless.
"Yes," Alessio gave a quiet response, starting forward.
Silvan stepped aside to let him by, quietly frantic at this colorless version of Alessio, it was worrisome.
The Vampire was usually lounging or leaning against a surface if he wasn't fast asleep, outspoken and bold despite his penchant for naps. He was usually vibrant in his muted way, like a sleeping tiger.
"...I take it the letter from Asten has arrived." Alessio made small talk.
It was a sunny morning, sunlight streaming in from the balcony. It highlighted Alessio's tousled hair as well as the bits and pieces of leaves and petals in his hair.
"It has," Silvan replied quietly, taking all of Alessio in to make up for the time he hadn't gotten to see him. "Did you take a nap in Queen Nadia's gardens?"
