That rough scent.
It woke me up.
The scent was coming from the living room. And since my bed room door was locked, it was faint but it was strong enough to tingle into my nose and wake me up from my sleep. I wanted to look for the source of the scent but before I knew my automatic muscle memory kicked in and made me reach out to my phone and see the latest news.

A.O.B? what A.O.B are they talking about?? Before I could click the top trending one . Some one kicked my bed room door. It was my land lord. The same person that I have only seen once and countless times in photos. He was some kind of mafia. And it suited his presence. I was already lucky enough to get this apartment. Is he here to kick me out? If that was the case it will be not surprising at all. But strange enough the scent was coming from him. I brushed it of as a perfume or something.
Before I could say anything he said "You are the one right?" "Your pardon?" "The most famous A.O.B writer? Isn't it you?" His voice got me shaking at some point. I stood up and said while bowing down to him "Yes, Mr. Richardson"
His eyes scanned me through and through. "Are you sick or some thing?" he said. "Your pardon?" "I asked if you were sick or something?" "No..." "Oh, okay."
NARRATOR'S POV
Kim Hye Yoon was known as that rare beauty in high school. Even though he had a strong reputation of a gangster, his sickly beauty was also one of the things he became infamous for. Girls and boys from other schools would come running for seeing him.
And as for the Land lord? He always had his jet black suit on when ever he leaves his house. The only word you could think from seeing him is 'handsome' because he was that kind of guy who worked out regularly and even have six packs.
Before Kim Hye Yoon could say another word. Land lord turned and left him.
But the strong rough scent which was similar to strawberry lingered in the air. Kim Hye Yoon was confused upon what was happening but he quickly turned to read the trending topics again. While Kim Hye Yoon was reading the trending topics, land lord on the other side whispered to himself "Fuck, who knew this writer was this hot? Is he a model or something now? I don't remember him being this..." Before he could say anything further, his right hand man, Luke came.
Luke was certainly very mysterious person. Even though he had a smiling look you could sense cold air all around him. He usually wears bright suit and had blonde hair and blue eyes you could say from just seeing him. Some thing is not right with this man.
"Is some thing bothering you my lord?" Luke asked. Clearly amused. "Was this writer is beautiful? Is it even HE or it is just a girl with boy cut?" "Are you talking about the writer, my lord?" "Yes, HIM" Luke's smile vanished and he said "Well he was. Since middle school, my lord." "You knew him?" "Yes my lord. He was one of my close friends. But our ways didn't align so we separated." Land lord just nodded.
