"Have you eaten today?" Silvan asked gently. The human Prince had made no move to leave, even walking closer to sit at the edge of the couch, the dying sunset giving his hair a coppery glow.
"I haven't," He mumbled guiltily, remembering only when Silvan asked that he hadn't eaten a bite all day.
Silvan reached out to lift his hair out of his face, "You should eat something before you sleep."
Alessio turned to look at him, looking properly at Silvan for the first time. He had hoped to be able to fall swiftly asleep again, not just to sleep but to also avoid the inevitable confrontation with Silvan.
"I'm far too drunk to eat," He admitted, his tone a little depreciating.
Silvan frowned, Alessio still seemed lucid and was able to articulate words but it was clear how much he had drunk by the evidence all around.
