When the messenger from Asten finally arrived, Silvan had almost read all the tomes on exotic animals given to him by Sir Bellino and had more knowledge than he would ever need on the topic.
Silvan had spent most of the week and some days, locked in his rooms, it took him back to the time spent secluded in his living quarters in the temple.
The knock came unassumingly, and he had thought that servants had brought him snacks or a meal.
He had barely come in contact with the Royal family in the past week, they seemed to also be keeping their distance.
Silvan's dim gaze swept right to the door next to his room when he walked over to the door to open it. He barely paid attention to the servant standing right across him, waiting to serve him.
Seeing his country's uniform made something snap in him, his distant gaze immediately shifting into focus.
"Your Highness," The courier bowed deeply, a smile on his road-weary face.
