I paced back and forth as I waited for Lanzon to return with good news but no matter how much I tried to remain calm, I couldn't and the sun was already going down, meaning evening was fast approaching.

But not long after that thought, I heard the sound of carriage and went to my window to peek outside in curiosity and when I saw it was the one we took for the hunt, I quickly bolted out of my room and ran all the way to the front of the building without bothering about the maids who gave me looks.
The only ones who were bold enough to yell after me to stop were my ladies in waiting; Lady Donna and Antonia.
And by the time I got to the entrance of the building, Lanzon stepped out of the carriage and it was then I realized that they came back with the wild boar.
The chauffeur rode away with it tied at the top of the carriage while Lanzon walked up the stairs and came to meet me.
