~{EMELDA'S POV}~
*
When I had calmed down, Lanzon went to calm Clarice as well before carrying her into his back.
And while he did that, I slowly looked at myself and noticed that I was a bloody horror. It was too frightening that Lanzon had even made Clarice not to look.
In silence he came to me and took my hand in his before leading us out of the forest. A wild fire engulfed us but I was too shaken to be fascinated by the flames and when it went out after several seconds, I found myself back in my room.
Even after Lanzon let go of my hand and went to drop Clarice on the bed, she couldn't stop whimpering.
"I am sorry for this but you have to go to sleep so I can help your mother," I heard him lightly say to her but I didn't look.
I was too focused on my appearance to a point I went and stood before the mirror in my room to check out my appearance. And as expected, it was just like last time. The first time I had gone out to hunt and came back all bloody.
