Chapter 2 - The beginning of the clash

The next morning, Wen Zhin woke up, took a shower, and got dressed, though his body was sore as hell. Before he could even finish buttoning his shirt, someone knocked at the door. He stood up and went to open it.

"Here's the compensation for your service last night. You may show yourself out in the next 15 minutes. Service has to come clean up the mess you made," said Lao Zhan's most trusted subordinate, not giving Wen Zhin a chance to make sense of the situation before walking away. Wen Zhin was left confused—who the hell was this guy, and what gave him the nerve to talk to him like that?

"Looks like someone didn't get any last night, so he's taking it out on me... Mxhhh, the nerve. Anyways, I have to get home before the devil notices I didn't come back. Ouch! How the hell am I supposed to survive the day with my butt hurting like this? Oh well, I might as well endure the pain since I asked for it," he muttered, picking up his jacket and leaving the room.

As soon as he walked in, he found a lovely surprise waiting for him.

I was waiting for him in front of the house. He pretended to have gone out for a walk, but I had already noticed that he never came back last night—and something was wrong with the way he walked, as if he had a stick in his butt.

"What's up with the walk? Don't tell me you gave it to him last night, even after he broke your heart," I said in an annoyed tone as I rushed to help him. I took him inside the house to his room and helped him lie down on the bed.

"Are you in pain?" I asked with concern.

"It hurts like hell," he answered with a sad face.

(Ha ha ha ha ha)

"What's so funny?" he asked, annoyed.

"Your face (ha ha ha). You should have seen yourself (ha ha ha). Now enough with the jokes—spit it out before I lose my cool. Who's the dumbass that hurt you like this?" I said, shifting from friendly to angry.

"Come on! The guy did nothing wrong; he just gave me what I asked for," he tried to explain, hoping to prevent me from killing the bastard who made him walk like he had a big stick stuck in his butt. But it wasn't enough to convince me.

"It doesn't matter whether you talk or not because I'm getting the name of that bastard one way or another. Are you going to tell me, or should I use the hard way..." I was interrupted by Xiao Zha, my PA.

"We found out where he was last night," she whispered.

"Is it?" I asked with a cunning smirk.

Before Wen Zhin could understand what was happening, I carried him on my shoulders, got into a car, and drove off. At that moment, he knew I had found out who he was.

"Where are we going?" he asked, knowing very well where, but needing to be sure.

"Let's just say we're going to pay someone a visit," I answered with a creepy smile that gave him chills.

Before he knew it, we were at the JRVS Hotel (owned by Jumpol Atthanphan, Thailand's richest man, known for his popular and well-run hotels throughout many Asian countries). As soon as he saw where we were, he smiled, thinking we'd come to meet the owner since we were friends, and it had been a while since we last saw him. But as soon as we got off the lift, his eyes met those of the very same guy who told him to leave in 15 minutes.

His eyes widened, and at that moment, he knew hell was about to break loose. What scared him even more was the creepy smirk on my face—it was like I was ready to kill, and that scared the shit out of him because once I went berserk, no one could stop me.

"Zhao Zhao, look, let's just forget this, okay? I promise that starting today, I'll do whatever you ask of me. No one has to die today," he spoke, his voice full of fear for what was to come for Lao Zhan.

He didn't care if Lao Zhan's subordinates mistreated him after he had spent a night with him because to him, Lao Zhan helped him deal with his pain.

"Who are you? This is a private floor, and uninvited guests aren't allowed. Oh wait, isn't he the guy our boss spent the night with yesterday? Don't tell me you brought her to join the party since you couldn't get enough of him. So you want to try a threesome with a girl? If that's true, forget it—because the boss isn't the type to have the same dish every day," one subordinate said proudly.

"You know, if I were you, I'd tell my dumbass boss to bring his shitty ass here before I lose my cool," I said, annoyed.

"Hey, you bitch, watch your tone if I were you. Do you think we care if you lose your cool?" he snapped, pointing a finger at me.

"You know, bro, it would be good for you not to point a finger at her because she hates it when people do that..." Ling Zhao knocked out all the guys before he could finish his sentence.

"Oh come on! You could have at least let me finish my signature sentence. You always do that whenever I want to say it," he pouted.

"Stop pouting and hurry your ass up before I drag you with it," I said, grinning.

He immediately stopped pouting and followed me. The moment we entered the balcony where Lao Zhan was, his subordinates were already surrounding us.

"Oh! I see, the pit bull has sent its lapdogs to do its dirty work for him. You're a coward, I see. So, let's make a deal—you give me that jerk-off over there, and I'll let you live another second, but I can't promise your lives if you decide to go against me," I said, a creepy smirk on my face.

"Oh my, I see the little cutie couldn't endure the pain, so he went and cried to his baby sister to stand up for him. Oh well, I've had enough of this. Kill them and bury them where you buried the last brat who caused the same problem," Lao Zhan said irritably as he walked toward his chair.

"Yes sir," his subordinates agreed instantly, but I knocked out all of his men within a split second before he could sit down.

"So you're the fearsome mafia boss that everyone is scared of? What a waste of a title—a mafia boss who kills innocent people just because his little thing isn't satisfying. You bring disgrace to the world of mafia," I said, shaking my head in disbelief.

"Wen Zhou (Lao Zhan's PA), please clean up this mess. I can't have the whole gang mocking me for killing a useless girl," he said, walking toward his chair.

But before he could sit, I was already in front of him and threw a punch that took him by surprise.

"I'm going to kill this bitch with my own hands," he said, wiping blood from his bleeding lip.

With that, the fight between the tiger and the dragon began—a fight never seen before. Anyone caught in it would have died. My moves were fast and untraceable, making it hard for him to dodge.

He was hit no matter how hard he tried to avoid my attacks.

Wen Zhou saw the fight was getting dangerous for his boss and tried to intervene, but Wen Zhin stopped him.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," he said with a smirk.

Before Wen Zhou could reply, Lao Zhan was sent flying into another room, and with that, the fight between the tiger and the dragon was over.

Wen Zhou rushed to help his boss and hurried him to the hospital, as his wounds might be fatal if not treated. We slipped out quietly.
