Erik and his friends parted ways. He felt content and full but was also tired, so eating didn't help him that much.
It had been a long day, and he had been looking forward to going back to his room since the morning.
Erik had to be with Aaron, aside from training. They were taking turns with him to prevent him from doing anything stupid. Today was Floyd's turn, so Erik finally had some free time to absorb it.
He giggled as he returned to his dorm room.
"What are you smiling for?" Benedict asked.
"Sorry, it's just that I'm tired, and I can't wait to go to bed."
"Man, are you this happy just because you are going to sleep?" He laughed.
"Yeah, make fun of me, but you are no better!" Erik smiled back.
Benedict laughed.
"Well, I guess it's the little things in life that bring joy." They both chuckled and continued their conversation.
When he finally arrived at their apartment, he fished his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door.
