It was a day of festivities in Fasard, as they were celebrating the city's foundation 70 years before.
Fasard was much larger than New Alexandria. The city sat on a wide plain at the base of the Karduan mountain range, where the terrain offered natural protection from the beasts that roamed other regions. Unlike New Alexandria, which had been built in one of the most dangerous areas on the continent, Fasard's location made it relatively safe and prosperous.
