Chapter 1 - Reborn as Kaido.

Sea Circle Calendar 1484, God Valley.

Unknown to the outside world, this kingdom known as God Valley is located in the West Blue, unaffiliated with the World Government. It was used by the Celestial Dragons for their annual native hunting competition.

But this time, the situation was different.

Due to the kidnapping of Shakuyaku, known as "Hachinosu's Treasure," this place attracted the attention of the Rocks Pirates, the strongest crew of this era, who came to rescue her, and the Roger Pirates.

And upon learning that Roger was heading to the island, Vice Admiral Garp decided to hunt him down.

Therefore, what happens here will later be known as the God Valley Incident.

............................

Dark clouds covered the sky above God Valley, while the island trembled with the crashing thunder.

No wonder the island sank into the sea afther the End of the Battle, given the continuous battles between countless monsters.

It's even surprising that the island withstood so much with eight Conqueror's Haki users gathered in one place, not counting the two who would possess it in the future.

Suddenly, amidst the thundering black clouds, a figure fell and crashed to the island's ground.

The others were shocked to see the figure's true face.

Currently one of the three Admirals of the Marines!

A Logia user of the Yuki Yuki no Mi, known as Shirohebi.

At that moment, the Marine "justice" cloak he wore was almost torn, leaving only the kanji "正" .

His entire body was drenched in blood, and it was clear he was dead.

The next instant, another figure fell from the storm cloud.

Although he too was covered in blood, he didn't fall to the ground in shame like the Dead Admiral.

Ignoring the situation, the burly figure launched himself into the Moonwalk, standing atop a high rock with no apparent danger.

"Garp, Vice Admiral!"

The burly man who looked only 40 years old was the strongest man in the Marines, [The Fist] Monkey D. Garp.

Immediately, another man fell from the clouds. He was the most ruthless pirate of the current era.

Rocks D·Xebec

Boom!

On the other side of God Valley, a battle erupted between Garp and Rocks. The entire God Valley trembled with the deafening vibration.

In the rainy sky, a blue dragon slowly transformed into a humanoid in the air

He was a brute with broad shoulders and dark hair, whose mace weighed as much as his presence. He looked about 30, but he was around 22. The power he radiated warned everyone not to treat him as a mere apprentice of the Rocks Pirates. They called him Kaido, the Azure Beast.

Before him stood a man with a thick, curved mustache, a classic captain's hat tilted over his piercing gaze, and a Western-style sword resting comfortably in his hand. That man would one day become the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.

But the Kaido before him harbored a soul from another world. More than two decades had passed since he awoke in this sea, inheriting the name and destiny of Kaido in the world of "One Piece." He knew the path ahead was strewn with battles destined to break him, so he refused to succumb to complacency. He vowed to rise stronger than the Kaido of the original story.

By the time he turned twenty, the Marines had already sent entire battalions to capture him. Shortly after, he joined the Rocks' crew alongside Charlotte Linlin.

Calling them a "crew" was an understatement. The place was a den of rogue monsters, nest where fights erupted as naturally as breathing.

"Tch." Kaido wiped the blood trickling down his cheek, pushing wet strands of hair away from his face as he looked at the man who would one day rule the seas.

"Hahaha! Just as I thought," Roger laughed, his smile reflecting both delight and challenge. "Among the Rocks, you're the strongest after Rocks himself and Newgate. Andat your age? Wow! With your talent, why settle for a man like Rocks? What do you say? Will you sail the seas with me?"

The offer hung in the air for only a moment.

"Rocks is trash, and you're not far behind. a bunch of useless fools mocking each other. You think I'd follow them?" He never felt the slightest reverence for Rocks. He joined that chaotic crew only because it harbored monsters worth fighting.

Whitebeard, Golden Lion, Charlotte Linlin, Ochoku… Kaido came for the battles and the resources he could gain by following them, nothing more.

Precisely for this reason, Kaido has reached the strength of the original Kaido at his peak almost forty years before the timeline of the original book began.

In his opinion, Rocks is undoubtedly a fool who burns, kills, loots, and does everything, but Roger isn't exactly a good guy either.

But at least compared to Roger, Rocks is a good father.

Willed to give his life so that his wife and child could survive.

Unlike a certain mustache-nosed man who left a woman pregnant and then turned himself in to the Marines.

Needless to say, how many people will be destroyed in the great age of piracy that will begin with his death in the future.

Bringing the world into a state of chaos, thus increasing the number of pirates.

Kaido didn't know what was hidden in the great treasure, One Piece, that was concealed in Laugh Tale and that Roger left behind.

Besides, he wasn't interested in playing Pirate King anyway.

But getting back to the point, in Kaido's opinion, Roger's disdain for Rocks was nothing more than a mutual disdain for pirates. It was simply dog biting dog.

"Hahaha! Rocks, it seems your cabin boy doesn't respect you much!"

At that moment, Garp, who was facing Rocks not far away, sneered and laughed.

"Hmph!" Rocks snorted coldly and attacked Garp again.

And just as Roger was wondering whether to continue fighting the boy in front of him or join Garp to take down Rocks's powerful enemy first...

"This battle is perfect; it can fully unleash the power of the Dragon Soul for me," Kaido thought to himself.

He'd been waiting for this for far too long!

"Roger, go fight Garp. It's obvious you want to take him on. This dragon boy is enough for me to handle. I'll help you block him!"

A blond man with round-framed glasses and a long sword leaped up beside Roger and said,

Deputy Captain of the Roger Pirates, Silvers Rayleigh.

Hearing what his deputy said, Roger became excited and smiled: "Then leave it to you! Partner!"

After speaking, Roger leaped toward Garp and Rocks.

Rayleigh pointed his sword at Kaido and smiled slightly: "Well, Dragon Boy, now I'll be your opponent."

Kaido smiled at this: "Very well, come and be my last sacrifice before I awaken!"

Pirates, Marines, or Bounty Hunters—when he kills, he will show no mercy!
