Synopsis
He wasn’t supposed to be here. Waking up in the world of pirates, sea kings, and legendary ambitions, he quickly realizes two things: First — he knows how this world unfolds. Second — something strange is happening with his thoughts. Sometimes, the women around him react… oddly. A look. A blush. An annoyed glare at something he definitely didn’t say out loud. Every sarcastic remark. Every secret plan. Every accidental compliment. And the worst part? He has no idea why. Armed with knowledge of future events and a mysterious system that rewards him for altering destiny, he sets sail in East Blue — not to chase a throne, but to protect those he chooses and rewrite a fate drenched in tragedy. The wind answers his call. A greater will slumbers within him. And the World Government’s reign may not be as untouchable as it once seemed. He doesn’t want to be king. He just wants to end an era… and enjoy the sea with the people he loves. But in a world where freedom collides with fate — Can a man who knows the future truly escape it? Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Transmigration.

East Blue — An Unknown Island:

A man named Kael Sylvarion, around twenty years old, stood near the shore.

His appearance could be described as attractive. He wore a green long coat over a plain white shirt and black pants. His messy black hair fluttered slightly in the wind, and his sharp green eyes stood out against his well-defined face. His tall frame cast a long shadow over the sand as the sea breeze moved his coat.

But at this moment, he stood there with an awkward expression, completely dumbfounded.

"Wait… I remember walking home after my evening stroll and falling into a sewer that had been left open… but this isn't what I expected."

He tried to calm himself down.

Looking around, he searched for clues about where he was so he could better assess his situation. However, after finding nothing except trees and sand, he began walking toward the middle of the island.

After some time, he finally encountered a few villagers and decided to ask them for information.

"Excuse me, can you tell me where this place is?" he asked, stopping one of them.

"Huh? This is Sixis Island. It may be a small island in the East Blue, but it's fairly well known around these seas. How come you don't know that?"

The speaker was a middle-aged man who raised an eyebrow at the question.

(Sixis Island? East Blue? Wait… isn't that…)

Realizing he might be making a fool of himself, Kael quickly explained.

"Sir, my name is Kael Sylvarion. I'm a traveler. Yesterday, while sailing, my ship was caught in a violent storm and destroyed. I fell into the sea, and after that I don't remember anything. I woke up this morning on the shore of this island without knowing where I was."

"I see. Things like that happen often out at sea," the man replied with an understanding smile. "You can call me Gabriel. So, Kael, what are you planning to do now that you're here?"

"I was thinking of staying here for about a week and finding transportation so I can continue my travels."

"Then how about staying at Gabriel's Inn? I'm the owner, so you won't have any trouble."

Kael could practically see the thought process on the man's face.

(He probably saw my outfit and assumed I have money.)

Luckily, Kael really did have money—somehow the cash in his pockets had turned into Berries, the currency used in this world.

So staying at the inn wouldn't be a problem.

"Then I'll be troubling you, Gabriel," Kael said with a polite smile.

"Alright, follow me."

Gabriel began walking, and Kael followed behind him.

As they walked through the village, Kael quietly observed his surroundings.

Sixis Island was small, but it felt lively.

Simple wooden houses stood along a dirt road that cut through the settlement. Fishing nets hung outside many homes, drying under the afternoon sun. A few villagers were repairing boats near the shore, while others carried baskets filled with freshly caught fish. Children ran through the streets laughing, chasing each other with sticks as if they were swords.

The salty breeze from the ocean mixed with the smell of grilled seafood drifting from a nearby stall.

It was peaceful.

Surprisingly peaceful.

Kael had seen plenty of coastal towns back on Earth during his travels, but this place felt different. Simpler. Slower.

For a brief moment, memories surfaced.

Back on Earth, Kael had lived a fairly unusual life for someone his age. With his looks and physique, he had worked part-time as a model, occasionally appearing in advertisements or fashion shoots. At the same time, athletics had always been his real passion. Years of training had built the strength and stamina that now carried over into this strange new world.

He didn't have any close relatives waiting for him back home. No parents, no siblings, and no obligations tying him down.

Which made the situation oddly easier to accept.

Still…

A small sigh escaped him.

(Transmigrating into another world after falling into a sewer…)

Even now, the absurdity of it all hadn't fully settled in.

Ahead of him, Gabriel stopped in front of a modest building with a wooden sign swinging above the entrance.

The words carved into it read:

Gabriel's Inn.

After checking in for a week and paying for the room and meals, Kael finally entered his room.

"Haa… finally."

With a thud, he dropped onto the bed.

Now that he was alone, he allowed himself to relax and began organizing his thoughts.

"So let's get this straight…"

"I'm in the world of One Piece, aren't I?"

"I normally don't dream about things like this, so I won't bother pinching myself to confirm it… but this is really absurd."

Surprisingly, he was much calmer than expected for someone who had just arrived in a completely different and extremely dangerous world.

But he understood something important.

Overreacting wouldn't help him.

The sooner he accepted his new reality, the better.

After thinking for a moment, he suddenly realized something.

"…System? Are you there?"

[Yes, Host. I am here.]

A rather uninterested voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

Kael blinked.

"Since when have you been here… if I may ask?"

[Since you entered this world, Host.]

"…."

"Then why didn't you speak earlier?"

[You never called for me, Host.]

"…And I was supposed to know that?"

[You just did, didn't you?]

The voice sounded slightly amused.

"You bas—"

Kael stopped himself.

"Sigh… forget it. Tell me your purpose."

[To assist you on your adventures in this world, Host.]

"More like to annoy me in this world," Kael muttered.

[...]

"Fine. How exactly do you work?"

[Every time you alter the main plot, you will receive a reward.]

[These rewards will depend on the plot you alter.]

[However, be careful not to drastically change the story. If you do, not only will you receive no reward, but you will also be punished.]

"I see. What counts as drastically changing something?"

[For example, killing important characters from the original plot.]

"So… the Straw Hat Pirates?"

[They are included among the important characters, yes.]

"Huh? Who else counts as important besides them?"

[That is for you to determine.]

"…."

"Aren't you supposed to help me here?"

[...]

"Sigh. Forget it."

"Is there a newbie package or something? Aside from my knowledge of the story and slightly better strength than normal humans, I don't have much to survive in this world."

[Yes, Host. There is indeed a newbie package. Would you like to receive it?]

"Yes, please."

[Ding! Congratulations, Host!]

[You have received:• Level 1 Observation Haki• Level 1 Armament Haki• Sword Technique: Wind Breathing]

Suddenly Kael felt subtle changes within his body.

At the same time, knowledge of a breathing technique flooded his mind.

But something felt… incomplete.

Then a sheathed sword suddenly appeared in his hands.

Kael quickly unsheathed it.

The blade was beautiful.

Jet black steel with striking green streaks running along its edge—wild and sharp like a raging storm.

He stared at it with satisfaction before carefully sheathing it again.

Then he looked at the floating screen before his eyes.

[Wind Breathing]

Compatibility — 40%

Forms Available — First Three Forms

"Forty percent compatibility… and only three forms."

"I see. That explains why it felt incomplete."

"System, what does the 40% compatibility mean? And why can I only use three forms? How do I increase it?"

[The Wind Breathing technique has been strengthened to match this world's power level.]

[You can increase compatibility through training and combat.]

[Additional forms will unlock as compatibility increases.]

"So training and fighting… like normal gym training?"

He imagined something like the intense training that Roronoa Zoro often did.

[Normal training works as well.]

[However, priority should be given to exercises that improve your technique and combat ability.]

[For example:• arm strength• speed• reflexes• lung capacity]

"These are especially important for Wind Breathing."

"That makes sense."

"What about future rewards? Will they be different or similar breathing techniques? Could I become a multi-breathing user?"

[Rewards are random.]

[For smaller plot changes, you will usually receive minor rewards such as stat increases.]

[For larger plot alterations, you may obtain other breathing techniques.]

[However, Sun Breathing cannot be given.]

[Also, you cannot use more than one breathing technique.]

"I see…"

"But why can't Sun Breathing be given? And if I can't use other breathing techniques, wouldn't receiving them be useless?"

[Every individual in this world has an elemental affinity.]

[You possess affinity with the wind element.]

[Only one breathing style can be used by a person.]

[There is no individual in this world with affinity for the Sun element.]

[However, if you obtain other breathing techniques, you may bestow them upon individuals who share the appropriate affinity and have a strong bond with you.]

"So I have wind affinity… and I can pass other breathing styles to allies."

He immediately thought about someone like Nami, who clearly had a strong affinity with lightning.

After finishing his questions, Kael stopped talking to the system and began making plans.

(Alright…)

(I'll stay here for one week.)

(That should be enough time to get used to basic Haki and Wind Breathing.)

(I also need to find transportation.)

(After that… I can finally set sail.)

A sudden thought crossed his mind.

(Would recruiting some of the original Straw Hat members count as altering the plot?)

Thinking about that possibility, Kael lay down on the bed.

Within minutes, exhaustion caught up with him.

He closed his eyes and slowly drifted into sleep.
