After the confession, nothing big happened.

At Hana Café, Haruto stood a little closer at the counter. Miyu noticed how his shoulder sometimes brushed hers when he leaned in to pay. Neither mentioned it.
They were careful.Almost too careful.
One evening, after closing, Haruto waited again.
"Walk together?" he asked.
Miyu nodded.
The city lights reflected softly on the pavement. They walked side by side, hands occasionally touching—then separating—like they were still learning the rhythm.
At the park, they sat on the same bench as before.
This time, the space between them was smaller.
Not gone.Just… less.
Miyu could hear him breathe.
Haruto shifted slightly. Their shoulders touched.
Neither moved away.
