Chapter 11 - Chapter 10: How to Play your Role 3

Balmorg, a large fully armoured Knight with a fur coat on his shoulders and a grey cape flowing in his back rode on his trusty steed, a war bear as large as him named Kreek.

He had a mace and a giant tower shield on his right and left hands respectively.

His entire skill set made him a force to be reckoned with, a Warlaner with two HP bars...

One for himself and the other for his mount.

His passive stated that all damage he took when mounted went to his war bear. When he was dismounted, he lost most of his armour and magical but his attacks would break the opponents armour. He could only regain Kreek if he had a takedown after its death. This could only happen once every 3 minutes. If already used, Balmorg had to recall to the Citadel to regain his mount.

His first skill when mounted was a 3 attack swing that did damage to multiple targets in a semicircle, and then an area of effect smash that slowed all enemies. When unmounted, the last iteration of the the Skill knocked up instead.

His skill 2 let him charge on his warbear, becoming unstoppable and knocking away targets. It was the same when unmounted.

His skill 3 gave him a defense buff and a trample effect when mounted. Kreek would be able to walk through minions and do continuous A.O.E damage. While unmounted, he swung in a circle, doing damage to all enemies around.

His ultimate could only be activated when mounted. Audacious Vanguard gave a defense and magic resistance boost to all allied immortals near him passively. Balmorg and Kreek would then charge in a certain direction, and would not stop until they hit terrain or an enemy immortal. Any enemies hit would be knocked up and stunned for 3 seconds, their armour reduced.

Rex watched Balmorg move to the Warlane, but then noticed something odd.

The first wave came, but the enemy Yang-Han hadn't shown up.

His opposite Laner, Shub-Nigurath showed up in lane to farm as normal. Even the enemy Hyper Core and scout duo had shown up.

But not a single sight on Yang-Han

The Balmorg player pinged missing on the map.

"I know" Crea said over comms. She pinged on the left side of the map, on were her jungle camps had spawned.

-They're on my blue side. It's an invade... Keep farming as if nothing is wrong. she typed on team chat to the random Warlaner.

Rex looked at the map and noticed that Crea's Hellsing was currently taking the enemies blue buff. He chuckled, knowing full well that the enemy would be furious if they found out what was happening.

Just then, Crea said on comms with a voice of authority.

"Dylan, Rex, force a trade. I need assistance"

Dylan and Rex both seemed confused, but followed through. Rex made to use his Argron to push the wave against the Shub-Nigurath as fast as possible.

Shub-Nigurath looked like an Eldritch abomination fused with a woman. She had the body of a woman, but her face had multiple eyes and her four legs were that of a goat's.

Argron was a control mage with little mobility who was known for his destructive capabilities. His skills were similar to his twin sister, Athriel.

His passive made it so that his flames would mark and enemy, doing damage over time. If the mark was applied 3 times, the marked immortal would leave a trail of fire that spread his flames to the surrounding terrain.

Bushes and trees would burn overtime, destroying pieces of terrain.

His Skill 1 [Ball of Flame] sent fire ball to an area, doing damage to all enemies it hit. It the target was marked by his passive, it exploded the marks doing bonus magic damage.

His skill 2 [Helios Surge] allowed him to buff himself or an ally with a shield of flame that him movement speed. Any enemies near him would take burning damage.

His Skill 3 [Lava Explosion] let him create a crater of flame magic in a large area that burnt and slowed all enemies.

His ultimate was [Dragons Roar] a skill that sent an inferno in a straight line, dealing magic damage to all in its path. It did terrain and structural damage to towers, making Argron a burn mage than a burst mage.

Rex used his skill 1, targeting the Shub-Nigurath and pushing her HP lower. Shub-Nigurath wasn't good against such play styles earlier on, as her time to shine came in the late game.

Rex then controlled Argron to roam to the Right side of the map. The path of the jungle between his and Dylan's lane.

Dylan on the other hand, had used his poison abilities to push his wave. On the second wave, he was a level over his opponent.

Crea looked at the creep score and nodded to herself.

'Perfect CS. Not bad.'

"Uhhhm, Miss Crea, can I get another wave before I come over?"

"No, move quickly. They're almost here. You won't lose much"

Dylan used Rakesh's second ability [Unseen Threat] to make him invisible for a moment. His scout, seeing that his team was converging in the enemies blue side jungle, retreated to hold the minion wave under his tower.

Yufel was a faun that played the role of scout because of his healing and buff he gave his allies through an ocarina he played.

-You need assistance he asked on team chat.

-Hold the wave as calmly as you can. The enemy doesn't know where Rakesh is so keep it that way- was Crea's reply as she had taken the enemies blue buff and serpents.

Just then, at the corner of her eye, she noticed a figure jump over the wall to a bush nearby.

It was the enemy Obafemi.

He was dark skinned and muscular warrior of a man wearing no shirt and animal skinned clothes on his waist down. On his hand was a large two handed wooden club with serrated parts on it.

Followed behind him was a dark skinned woman with fiery orange hair. She was dressed in what seemed to be a sports bra and shorts. On her hands were bandages with fiery chains tied from elbows to her fist.

Crea looked at them and smiled.

She, who farmed alone was level 3, whilst the Obafemi and Yang-Han were both Level 2 and 1 respectively.

Normally, she could win this 1 versus 2, but she wanted to accelerate her teammates so they would be ahead.

Crea knew one thing for a fact.

Low Ranked matches could be heaven or hell. All that mattered was skill and knowledge of the game to know that taking your Warlaner to invade the enemy Jungle would work; if the enemy was stupid enough not to notice and counter invade.

Hellsing channeled magic into his hand, creating a blood red sword which he used to send a blood coloured beam of light towards the duo.

The Obafemi side stepped, but the Yang-Han seemed slower to react, getting hit by it.

'She's the weak link'.

With his Skill 1 [Blood Sword] now armed, Hellsing dashed with his skill 3 [Red Tide], Dodging the Obafemi's Skill 1 [Warriors slam].

Yang-Han used her Skill 2 [Martial Form] to try and block the next attack made to her, but the attack never came. Hellsing had seen that coming and cancelled the attack animation just in time. Immediately, a smoke bomb burst into the area, emitting greenish smoke around.

Rakesh Skill 1 [Evil Dust].

Obafemi had used his Skill to to create a shield around himself to take less damage, but then, a large fireball flew over, exploding in his face, Followed by a set of basic attacks from both Rakesh and Hellsing.

A 2v1 had become a 2v3.

'How the hell did this happen?'

FIRST BLOOD

Hellsing Killed Obafemi

Rakesh Killed Yang-Han

The announcers voice boomed over the comms, causing Rex and Dylan to celebrate.

"Nice! That was good right" Dylan asked Crea, who seemed focused on her screen.

After a breath she replied. "Seems so for now, but only I, Dylan and the Warlaner got advantages." She said before pinging the Siege lane.

"Seems the Shub-Nigurath is actually good. This will be a problem"

Rex looked at the creep score and noticed something... He was behind by about 150 gold.

Even though he got assist gold.

"How?"

Crea pinged his tower and answered "Seems she got a defensive rune off your tower. That's about over a 100 gold lead instantly. Just play it slow and let her do her thing"

Rex nodded and returned to his lane.

The game went on smoothly for most lanes, until.

An Enemy has being Slain

Double Kill

This came from the Warlane, as the Obafemi had failed a gank on the Balmorg. With Hellsing ahead, Crea had time to protect her Warlaner.

All that celebration was dampened with a counter announcement.

An Ally had being Slain

Enemy Double Kill

Enemy Triple Kill: Ascension

Crea furrowed her brow.

'How the fuck?'

She looked at the death recap and saw her Siege Laner, Hyper core and scout were all dead in Hyper lane.

She looked across herself at Dylan and Rex, who avoided her gaze. They had all died to the Shub-Nigurath.

"Someone care to explain what part of 'Play safe under tower ' you don't understand?"

"Well, we almost got the Mac'intyre, she just you know... Showed up"

Crea sighed heavily and continued her jungle clearing.

"She doesn't just show up. What were her last actions before yo decided to roam Hyper lane?"

"She was recalling to buy items in the shop" Rex answered.

"Now does she have a Temporal Transfer spell?"

Rex kept quiet immediately, knowing where this was going.

"Next time, don't invade when the enemy has TTs. And you Dylan, how the hell did you miss that kill?"

"It's my Yufel, he chickend out the last second."

Crea groaned and walked to the bush just left of the Siege lane.

Currently, she had her ultimate ability ready.

Just as the Shub-Nigurath walked into lane, she instantly used her ultimate ability [Hells Fury]

"I... Am... Hellsing" Vincent Van Hellsing roared, turning into a red demon with three horns, and a tail in his back. In his ultimate form, he Gain Bonus damage, movement speed, attack and life steal for a few seconds. If he killed during the duration, the skill would be extended.

Hellsing dashed In dodging Shub-Nigurath's skill shots and bypassing her minions with smooth movement, before using his Enhanced skill 2 [Blood Frenzy] to suppress her. She soon fell as the announcer bellowed.

SHUTDOWN!!!

Hellsing Killed Shub-Nigurath
