Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: Skill Issue

In an unknown place, at an unknown period of time... A cursed battlefield riddled with corpses, blood and fire, the lands burned with new flames.

This used to be a city filled with people, it's large walls high and mighty, it's streets paved and clean, it's castle sitting right at the middle, acting as a beacon of strength and hope for the nation. A nation now fallen to ruin.

Soldiers in heavy armour with blue accents faced off a horde of corrupted and mindless humans who rushed into the city, armed with whatever weapon they could find. The soldiers did their best to hold back, to hold the line

"Keep it together lads, hol' the fort or we'll be o'errun dammit" a heavily armoured soldier cried as he pointed his spear to a new wave of zombie like enemies rushing towards them.

"CAP'N!!! the Middle fortress is down!" A voice cried from behind this soldier. And as if on cue, the towers that made up the Middle fortress fell, signalling it's destruction.

The captain of the troop of about 20 able bodied knights sighed in sorrow

"Darn! All that's left now is..." He groaned, before turning his head behind him, looking at the large Citadel. The Astralian Keep, their final fortress. If it fell, nothing could stop the enemies from conquering the Capital city of Belfont.

"What about the Immortals? Where are they?" One of the soldiers began to panic as he blurted out in fear.

The captain groaned, looking at the site of the fortress a few meters away. Just then, a figure walked out, to the relief of them all

It was a female figure dressed in priestly robes, having a veil on her face. Her eyes sparkled blue like the ocean, and on her hand was a white magic staff with a grey crystal on it.

"Lady Mystria!!! You're here!" The captain cried out.

"Fear not, I will hold the line" her calm sending waves of ethereal energy that seemingly bolstered their morale and healed their wounds.

The Captain nodded as he looked towards the castle and asked

"What if the rest of the Immortals m'lady?"

Mystria sighed in dejection and looked to the darkened sky.

"They will return to us... Soon" she replied calmly '...If we have enough time' she whispered to herself, afraid of the consequences of her words to the captain before her.

"She then looked at the fallen Middle fortress and groaned.

"Raven Claw! Where are you when we need you?" She moaned. Just then, figures of soldiers retreating back came into view; Lead by another Captain.

"Berack?! Retreat quickly!!!" The new captain cried towards the one standing before the final citadel. Just then, a wave of fire magic erupted from beneath him, turning him to ash...

"IDAAAAAN!" The captain Berack cried as he manned his spear, prepared to charge in.

"Stop soldier, the enemies Immortals are coming" Mystria warned, looking ahead, and at the figures walking together towards them.

The leading figure was a young woman with a shapely body and a red dress with a large v neck that exposed her chest ever so slightly. She has fiery red hair, red eyes and flames gushing from her open palms.

Right behind her was the figure of a giant of a man dressed in heavy armour and riding what seemed to be a large bear-like creature, also garbed in armour. He wielded a large mace and shield. His face wasn't visible as he wore a helmet over it.

Next to him was what seemed to be a lizard creature. Small in size, yet wielding a bow and a strapped on its barely dressed body what seemed to be a set of bolas.

On the roof of the building just above, two figure stood. One was a male elf with a pair of scimitars strapped on his back.

Another a man dressed up as a doctor, holding a magic book.

Mystria sighed. It was a 5 versus 1, and her chances seemed very slim, even if she put her all.

The woman in red suddenly spoke. With a sultry voice she said

"Surrender Mystria, it is useless to stand before me"

Mystria scoffed, her veil fluttering in the wind as she replied

"I cannot do that, not now, not ever. Especially to you Athriel"

"Still the same old stuck up priest. You know, I never really liked you. You were always the smart one, the one everyone liked, the one master adored..." Athriel spoke in a condescending tone as he walked forward. The zombiefied soldiers charged right from behind her, aiming to take the Citadel before them.

But they were stopped by a large beam of light that slaughtered them all.

HOLY SMITE!

"Whatever you have to say, say it to my corpse... I refuse to back down!" Mystria cried out, prepared to do battle.

The Soldiers and their captain roared in response, jumping into formation. Her magic covering them like an ethereal shield.

BARRIER OF CALCCUS

Athriel laughed as she began to weave magical energies floating in the air, forming a fire ball that grew bigger and bigger, slowly creating a blaze of heat and scorch around her. Her followers had split up, charging towards the last remaining soldiers blocking them.

"Ahahaha! Useless struggles before death, let my flames send you all..." Athriel said as she lifted the fireball over her head, prepared to throw it.

Just then, something got hers and her followers attention. It got even Mystria's as well, a look of surprise and disbelief.

"Who... When..." The lizard folk was the first to speak, stuttering as he didn't know what to say.

The elf looked towards the south of himself, then without saying anything, he began to move.

"Kylier, be careful. It's Raven Claw... He killed the OverKing"

The elf seemed to not hear her words as he rushed over the roofs, jumping from one building towards another as hewas followed by doctor with the book, who took flight right behind him.

"Raven Claw! That's what he wanted to do" Mystria spoke to herself. Soon a force of magic fell from the sky, landing on her as it filed her with energy.

"The blessings of the Creator? No! It won't change anything" Athriel roared, a look of anger built on her face, turning the already red woman redder.

She moved to toss the fireball towards Msytria, but then, a sudden sense of dread befuddled her.

The same sense hit the lizard folk and the mounted knight.

"Balmorg, Rekash!" Athriel ordered

Without needing to say anything they turned and retreated in the direction that Kylier and the doctor took.

Athriel instantly threw the fire ball at the troops and Mystria.

PRIMUS IGNIS

BOOOOOOOM!!!

Flames flew into the air, creating a pillar of fire that illuminated the dark stormy red sky.

"Ahahahaha! Nothing changed Mystria, it will still be useless ahahaha.... Huh?" Athriel laughed out, before stopping. What she saw next shocked her.

Mystria and her troops where still standing in the midst do the flames, and when it died out, they stood there, mostly unharmed.

Athriel shook off the shock as she remembered that Mystria controlled life magic, and so had the ability to preserve life, even when faced with destruction.

"Hmm? Useless. Then let's see if you can stop my most powerful spell" Athriel said as she began floating into sky, the flames around her spinning and singing a song of death.

The earth beneath Mystria's feet shook. The soldiers fell to the ground in panic some even retreating from the field out of fear.

"Hol' ya ground laddies. Our mother's didn't birth milk drinkers ya! We ave an immortal with us so stand and fight eh?" He tried to encourage, when even he feared what was to come.

Their was a saying in Astralia

When two Immortals fight, the reinforcement joins the death count

Berack knew he had escaped death narrowly. But dying was something he could do as long as he protected the Citadel.

'Where are the other immortals?' he thought as he charged towards Athriel.

"WORTHLESS!" Athriel cried, seeming agitated, as she prepared her strongest magic.

SURGE INFERNUS!!!

The earth shook and rumbled, the sky churned as the force of magic used caused even the surrounding flames to burn brighter...

But then, something went wrong

Horribly wrong. Athriel could feel it. In fact, she felt this long ago, when the OverKing was killed but one of Mystria's unknown ally.

When Kylier and Doctor Tallic went to intercept. When Balmorg and Rekash went to reinforce.

When they all Died!!!

And just as she was to cast her final spell

A black spear caved in her chest, stopping the cast.

Mystria sighed in elation, she hoped to all the heavens that Raven Claw would return. And return he did.

PENTAKILL!!!

Athriel fell towards the floor, dead as a door knob, as her flames surrounded her and devoured her corpse.

[Team] Apollos: Holy crap that was sick

[Team] Gra'Ush: Damn, who knew Raven Claw could move like that

[All] Mystria: Jg diff

[Team] Raven Claw: Attack the Enemies Base!!!

Mystria awoke from her daze, as more troops began to arrive from the citadel as reinforcements. Raven Claw was no where to be seen as he had already left.

The Enemy Team has Surrendered

Suddenly, a large explosion happened just a few kilometres away from the citadel. The enemies base has ruptured as they had forfeited their siege.

The Astralian citadel troops celebrated, rejoicing in their Victory.

Mystria had stopped moving and opened a window next to her. A chat room of player popped up as most player replied with GG and WP or Jg Gap

But one person hasn't typed yet. A player named CreatorWu. The player who used the Immortal character know as Raven Claw.

Suddenly a short message with two words popped up on the all chat screen. Something that everyone expected him to say.
