Just as Crea typed, she pressed her nose with her thumb and forefinger, a sign of weariness, but not defeat.
She'd played worse games with much worse scenarios than this.
"This is why you both haven't crossed diamond. You may have good mechanics, but your execution of said mechanics and timing is way off" she spoke with a calm voice. She then sighed loudly before knocking her fingers on the table.
"You guys just follow me. We scale slowly but surely"
Dylan and Rex nodded silently agreed as they respawned in.
Currently, the most fed person in the enemy team was the Shub-Nigurath, followed by the tanky Obafemi. Killing them would be harder, so Crea had thought of the easiest way to slowly regain a lead.
Attrition Gaming.
Currently, she was the most fed character in her team, so her dying now was a bad idea. Instead, she would use her team as fodder cannon and bait, to get the enemy to make foolish decisions.
They slowly returned to lane and began to quell the onslaught of enemy minions, which were being pushed back due to the Sleepless one buff on her minions.
Currently, she has set the Sleepless one to push the Warlane in order to open a wound in the enemies defences.
The Enemies WarLane Tower has being Destroyed!
Continue the Siege!
The announcers voice rang through the map. Almost immediately, the enemy who had moved siege lane, turned their attention to defend the War lane.
"Rex, walk up and clear the wave, I've got you" Crea immediately called seeing this. Rakesh suddenly moved to clear the wave siege lane, acting as if he didn't notice that the enemy just left a few seconds ago.
Just as he was taking the lane, Vincent Van Hellsing was just over the wall to the right, waiting for the enemy to show up.
And someone fell for it.
'Tch! It wasn't the Shub-Nigurath '
It was instead the Mac'intyre. He did have shutdown gold, so it was still worth to kill him.
"Do I attack?" Dylan asked Crea two seats across him.
"Wait. His scout is still here, we can't attack until she leaves"
'How does he know that?' Rex who sat next to her thought. He had no vision of the left side of the map, so he couldn't possibly know where the enemy was hiding.
"He has Sylphis passive movement speed on him. Look at his stats, it's 120 ms instead of 80"
Dylan did a quick hover and saw that what she said was true.
The most basic amount of movement speed late game was 150 ms without buffs.
Currently, the enemy Mac'intyre was playing it safe, using Sylphis passive that granted all allies around her a buff to their Ms to his advantage.
Just then, his ms suddenly dropped as he slowed down.
The enemy Sylphis has left.
Crea pinged, and that was the go button.
Rakesh used his Q on the Mac'intyre, poisoning and slowing him. Then, a large wall of flames rushed from right behind him.
Rakesh instantly activated his E to root the Mac'intyre before he could use his blink spell. And then activated his ultimate
Ultimate [Plague Spreader]: (passive) Your skills stack poison overtime, dealing magic damage overtime. Fire spells will now ignite your poison stacks, dealing bonus Raw damage instantly (Active) activate stacks of poison, dealing raw damage over time, if the target dies during this period, they explode doing AOE magic damage and spreading the plague stacks to all enemies close by. Rakesh used his ult in conjunction with Argron's, instantly bursting down the Mac'intyre. Just then, the enemy Sylphis blinked in and activated her heal spell.
But her ally had already been Slain
And the plague stacks now spread towards her.
Argron and Rakesh instantly turned towards her and made short work of her.
Shutdown!!!
Double Kill!!
Rakesh has Slain Mac'intyre
Rakesh has Slain Sylphis
Rakesh Gained 700 gold from shutdowns
"Nice!!!"
"Naisu!!!"
Rex and Dylan both exclaimed I'm delight, excited to have finally gotten some kills on the board.
They were currently 5-14, way behind in kills, and a 4000 gold deficit. But looking at the score board, most of the gold were in Shub-Nigurath's purse. One kill on her could bring the game to a balance.
The Guardian Sentinel of Earth is about to descend. Prepare yourselves Immortals.
Sentinels would spawn in the dividing margin between the siege lane and the Hyper lane.
Rakesh and Argron instantly began to recall, hurrying to get to base to buy their items for the next team fight. ButCrea pinged them to wait. She then took her buff, and moved Hellsing to the pit...
"Rush it down"
Immediately, as if possessed, Hellsing and the other character began to attack the 20,000 HP guardian. With their current items, it would seem very hard to do before the enemy got their.
Just then, Balmorg rode to the patch of brush in the Urvari forests, waiting for the enemy to show up.
Just as the Guardian was about 6700 HP, the enemy began to arrive at the Sentinel descent area.
"Shit, we won't make it in time" Dylan groaned as he did his best to maximize his APM so as to do as much damage as possible.
"Language kid, and we can. Just get it to 2000HP and we run"
Balmorg ultimate ready...
Yufel Ultimate ready...
Both the Warlaner and the Scout pinged their ultimates at the same time. Crea smiled slightly at seeing this. Just as the enemy Obafemi was to enter into the partitioning river, a loud horn resounded across the map.
Ultimate [Audacious Vanguard]
And with that, Balmorg charged forward, knocking up all the enemy team that was coming to the descent point.
This maneuver was enough for Crea to do more damage and press her 'Butcher' extra spells, killing the Guardian.
You have Slain Colossal Guardian and Gained the Will of Earth
Ultimate [Dance of the Spirits]
Yufel instantly activated his ultimate, giving all his allies a large burst of movement speed and healing. With the distraction and the buffs from the Yufel, they were able to escape the following onslaught narrowly.
An Ally has been Slain
Yang-Han has Slain Balmorg.
In the all chat, the enemy Obafemi typed:
We'd still win...
Balmorg- Worth it
Crea didn't have time to chat. After hiding in a bush nearby, she recalled to back to base and bought her 4th item.
Ravenous Curse: (3300 gold)
120 PD
10% CD reduction
20% Skill Vamp
(Passive): when you take damage, reduce the damage taken by 20% for 5 seconds. If an enemy dies during this time, refund all damage reduced as HP. (CD: 10 secs)
This was an item that made Hellsing a real menace in the battle field. Now, it would be harder for the enemy to kill her instantly, and with its refunded healing, Vincent's Lifesteal passive and the bonus damage reduction from his ultimate, she was virtually unkillable in extended team fights.
Rakesh bought a Sky Quiver, a magic and attack speed item that did bonus on-hit magic damage and slowed the enemy hit by skills .
Argron bought his third item, the Heart of Chaos that increased the magic damage of a mage by 30%.
With these purchases, Crea knew that the game was virtually even, as long as she didn't die.
The Second Pylon Rises
Prepare, The Sleepless One stirs
The announcement of the Second Pylon's accent was an important one.
This Pylon would determine a game state mechanic for both teams that was very important.
The Map expansion.
When Pylon's were taken, the first would buff all minions whilst the Sleepless one would send a clone down the lane to push any towers before it .
The second did something different, it expanded the map of those who took it corrupting two thirds of the enemy side with a portion of your terrain, and upgrading it.
If Crea's team successful captured the Pylon, the Celestial mountain would encroach on the Urvari Jungle, and create mana crystals across the map that gave bonus mana regeneration to her team when they were close to it.
If the Urvari Jungles encroached, the enemy would game more forest to hide near their citadel, and they would gain a brief amount
of stealth and HP regeneration in bushes.
This objective was very important to both sides.
Just then, in the corner of her eye, Crea noticed something perculiar.
The enemy Shub-Nigurath had decided to split push with her level 2 Evolved Dark Young and was literally in the opposite end of the map, away from the Sleeping Ones lair.
Just then, due to Yufel dropping vision wards prior, she caught the enemy Obafemi and Yang-Han roaming Topside, whilst the Mac'intyre and Sylphis were Siege lane.
And best of all, she was just nearby taking her Red Buff.
She pinged at the Shub-Nigurath, and then at the Yufel. Yufel seemed to understand as he rushed towards Vincent, playing his flute . Then they both ran to the Hyper lane, unbeknownst to the Shub-Nigurath.
"Rex, Dylan, keep the enemy busy for a bit. I'll kill this ASN just as the Pylon fully rises" Crea called out, this time sitting up and twisting her neck to the side, letting out a crack.
Then she added calmly, in a soothing voice that brought down the stress levels in the room.
"Don't let them take it, and don't die until I get there... Got it?"
"Yes ma'am"
Jeff, who was watching on his PC screen chuckled. Crea really acted like a leader when she needed to.
'That's very good!' he thought, hoping for the next team fight to be as exciting as the Guardian Rush prior.
