Har insaan ki zindagi mein ek aisa waqt aata hai jab use lagta hai ki sab kuch khatam ho gaya hai. Meri zindagi mein bhi wo waqt aaya jab main ek gehre depression se guzar rahi thi. Mera mann itna bhari rehta tha ki mujhe lagta tha main iss bojh ke niche dab jaungi. Main bas chahti thi ki wo saari buri yaadein, wo dard aur wo bechaini mere dimaag se nikal jaye, par main jitni koshish karti, wo dard utna hi badhta jata.
Do dino tak main apne ghar mein band thi, lagatar bhagwan ji ko yaad kar rahi thi, unke mantra padh rahi thi. Mere andar ek ajeeb si tadap thi ki bas ye sab khatam ho jaye. Teesre din main thodi himmat karke niche park mein gayi. Shaam ka waqt tha, thandi hawa chal rahi thi par mere andar ek aag lagi thi. Main wahan ek shant jagah par baith gayi aur apni aankhein band karke meditation karne lagi. Mera poora dhyan sirf bhagwan ji ke mantron par tha. Main dil se keh rahi thi, "Bhagwan, ye sab mere dimaag se nikal dijiye, mujhe pehle jaisa thik kar dijiye."
Tabhi jo hua, wo mere liye kisi chamatkar se kam nahi tha. Jaise hi main mantron mein poori tarah kho gayi, achanak mere maathe ke theek beech mein ek bahut zor ki vibration mehsoos hui. Wo vibration itni tezz thi ki mujhe laga jaise mera poora sir hil raha hai. Wo vibration ek baar hui, phir doosri baar... aur theek doosri vibration ke baad, mujhe aisa mehsoos hua jaise koi cheez, koi bahut bhari aur kaali energy mere maathe ke raste se 'shooo' karke bahar nikal gayi! Uske baad mera man bht halka hua or mujhe kafi relax feel hua.Wo pal aisa tha jaise kisi ne mere dimaag se saari gandagi aur saara dard mutthi mein bharkar bahar phenk diya ho. Wo cheez mere andar se nikli aur hawa mein ojhal ho gayi. Jo depression mujhe itne dino se ghair kar baitha tha, wo ek pal mein gayab ho gaya. Maine jab apni aankhein kholi, toh mujhe duniya alag dikh rahi thi, jaise mere sir se koi bahut bada bojh utar gaya ho.

Nani ke ghar me mujhe humesha se hi kuch feel hota tha tha, lekin uske theek bagal mein khada wo dusra ghar... wo bilkul nani ke ghar jaisa hi dikhta tha. Bilkul ek Symmetry ki tarah, jaise kisi ne mirror ke samne dusra ghar rakh diya ho. Wo ghar bhi hamare Nana ji ka hi tha, lekin wahan koi rehta nahi tha. Dono gharon ke beech ki ek deewar khuli hui thi, jo humein us khali ghar ki taraf bulati thi.
Main us waqt sirf 4 saal ki thi. Apne bhai aur mamaon ke saath us sannate se bhare ghar mein khelna humein ek adventure lagta tha. Dhool se bhari windows aur floor par bikhre kaanch ke pieces hamare khilone hua karte the. Lekin meri Mummh, jo us time umar mein badi thi, unhe us ghar mein kuch aisa feel hota tha jise hum bache nahi samajh paate the.
Bilkul waisi khushbu, jaise koi rasoi mein baith kar mithaai bana raha ho.Sabse scary baat thi wo lohe ka gate. Mummy ne humesha dekha tha ki us par ek bada sa purana taala latka rehta tha. Nana ji ne use barson se nahi khola tha. Lekin ek dopahar, jab mummy aangan mein khadi thi, unki nazar us gate par padi. Gate halka sa open tha, jaise koi abhi-abhi andar gaya ho ya andar se bahar aaya ho. Mummy ki rooh kaanp gayi kyunki chabi toh Nana ji ki almari mein band thi. Jab unhone himmat juta kar paas jaakar dekha, toh andar se garam-garam pakwano aur khane ki aisi khushbu aa rahi thi jaise wahan koi fest chal rahi ho. Lekin andar sirf andhera aur sannata tha.

Ek shaam main, meri dadi aur meri Bua ka ladka (mera cousin) chatt par baithe hue the. Mera cousin apne kuch kam se hmare ghr aya hua tha. Garmiyo ka mausam tha or sham ko thndi hawa chlrhi thi. Dadi aur bhaiya wahan baith kar baatein kar rahe the aur main thodi door chatt par walk kar rahi thi.
Mera dhyan apni hi walk mein tha, isliye mujhe nahi pata tha ki wo dono kabse aur kya baat kar rahe hain. Lekin thodi der baad, jab main walk khatam karke unke paas jaakar baithi, tab mere kaano mein mere cousin ki awaaz padi. Usne dadi se kuch kaha jisne mere ronge khade kar diye.
Maine bhaiya ke muh se bas itna suna: "...maine ek baar apni aankhon se dekha tha ki mere ghar ki samne vali building ki chatt par ek 'Safed Rang ka Saaya' khada hua tha. Aur phir mere dekhte hi dekhte vo niche kud gaya..."
Bas! Maine itna hi suna tha. Mera dhyan turant unki taraf gaya aur maine hairani se pucha, "Bhaiya, aapne kya dekha tha? Ye kaun si baat kar rahe ho? Mujhe bhi batao na shuru se!"
Mujhe laga ki wo mujhe poori story batayenge, lekin mere puchte hi bhaiya ka chehra bilkul badal gaya. Unhone fauran baat palat di aur mujhe bahut zor se daant kar bola, "Chup raho! Kuch nahi tha... choro us baat ko."
Maine bahut zid ki, baar-baar pucha ki aakhir unhone kya dekha tha aur wo saaya kahan gaya, lekin unhone ek nahi suni. Unhone fauran topic change kar diya. Main us waqt 15 saal ki thi, itni chhoti bhi nahi thi ki mujhe darr lagta ya main samajh na paati. Par shayad unhone jo dekha tha, wo itna khaufnaak tha ki wo mujhe bata kar darana nahi chahte the...

(18): The Miraculous Release
There comes a time in everyone's life when everything feels like it's falling apart. I went through a phase of deep depression where my mind felt like it was buried under an unbearable weight. I wanted to escape the pain, the memories, and the restlessness, but the more I tried, the tighter the grip of darkness became.
After two days of isolation and constant chanting of divine mantras, I gathered enough strength to go to a nearby park. It was evening, and a cool breeze was blowing, but inside, I was burning with anxiety. I sat in a quiet corner, closed my eyes, and began to meditate, focusing entirely on the mantras. I silently pleaded, "God, please take this out of my head. Make me whole again."
Suddenly, something miraculous happened. As I lost myself in the chants, I felt a violent vibration right in the center of my forehead. It was so intense that my entire head felt like it was shaking. After the second surge of vibration, I felt a heavy, black energy 'whoosh' out of my forehead and vanish into the air!
Instantly, I felt an incredible lightness. It was as if someone had reached into my mind, grabbed all the pain and darkness, and thrown it away. When I opened my eyes, the world looked different—vibrant and clear. The depression that had haunted me for days was gone in a single second.
Experience (19): The Mirror House and the Scent of Tobacco
Right next to my Nani's house stood another house that was its exact replica—a symmetrical mirror image. It also belonged to my Nana ji, but it remained uninhabited for years. A shared open wall between the two houses was a constant invitation to us children.
When I was four, playing in that dusty, silent house was an adventure. But my mother felt things there that we kids couldn't comprehend. She says that even in broad daylight, the air inside would shift. In a house where no stove had been lit for months, the sudden scent of chocolate would waft through the rooms. Sometimes, the heavy smell of cigarette smoke would fill a corner, as if someone was standing in the shadows, silently watching and puffing away.
The strangest part was the scent of 'Khoya' (milk solids) being cooked—a sweet, festive aroma coming from a dark, empty kitchen. Once, my mother noticed the main iron gate was slightly ajar, even though the keys were locked in Nana ji's cupboard. From inside that darkness came the smell of a grand feast, yet there was not a soul to be seen.
Experience (20): The Midnight Thud and the Secret on the Roof
As I mentioned, my Uncle and Aunt live in a room on the terrace. My Aunt says that at exactly 12:00 AM, when the neighborhood falls silent, a loud "THUD!" echoes on the roof. It sounds like a massive boulder has been hurled onto the terrace. There are no high buildings nearby from which someone could throw a stone, and yet, this sound happens repeatedly at 3:00 AM. Every time she gathers the courage to check, the terrace is empty. Not a single stone is ever found.
Years later, when I was 15, I was walking on my own terrace while my grandmother and cousin were talking nearby. I overheard my cousin saying, "...I saw it with my own eyes. A white shadow was standing on the roof of the opposite building, and then it just jumped..."
I was stunned and rushed to him, asking for the full story. But the moment he saw me, his face changed. He snapped at me, "Be quiet! It was nothing... forget it." He refused to say another word. To this day, I wonder what he saw that was so horrific that he felt he had to protect me from the truth.
