Chapter 32 - chapter 32

The office atmosphere had become suffocating for Aryan. Komal's indifference and Rahul's diminished confidence were tormenting him. Komal sat at her desk like a living corpse, the dark circles under her eyes testifying to her mental battle. Aryan became angry and left the office without saying anything.

He returned a short while later, two coffee cups in hand. He placed one in front of Komal and said in a heavy voice,

"Drink this, you're not feeling well." Then he asked softly, "Are you free on Sunday? We'll go out somewhere... we'll relax a bit.

" Komal, without looking at him, said, "No, Aryan, I'm very busy."

Just then, Rahul gave a sly smile, "Aryan, you're overstepping your bounds. Komal and I need to settle last night's matter." Aryan glanced at Rahul. Only one thought crossed his mind:

"Why haven't these two separated yet? That idiot Rahul and this stupid Komal... This relationship has to end now."

At 9 p.m., when Rahul and Komal left together in the car again, Aryan glared at them with disgust.

"These two have a terrible life," he muttered, and left the office. He reached the metro station and sat on a bench.

Just then, a mysterious man in a black suit emerged from the crowd and whispered something into Aryan's ear.

"The boss has orders. We have to free a man who holds huge secrets about our syndicate and the country. He's imprisoned by a dictator. You have to leave on Sunday.

" Aryan glanced at the man once and silently got busy on his phone. He had decided: he wouldn't go out on Sunday, he would go hunting.

On Sunday morning, Aryan was at the airport. Even the security guards were startled by his 7-foot stature. As he boarded the flight, a bubbly girl sat next to him. She tried to talk to Aryan,

"Hi! Where are you going?" Aryan didn't respond. The girl pouted and put on her headphones and started listening to a song.

That's when Aryan realized the song wasn't playing on his headphones, but on the speakers. The entire plane was listening. A rare smile appeared on Aryan's face. He turned and said, "

Hello... put your headphones on properly, there's noise outside."

The girl was embarrassed, and Aryan closed his eyes. His real mission was about to begin.

The flight landed at a South Korean airport. Aryan had to cross the border from there and go to the dangerous area where the prisoner was being held. As soon as he left the airport, a black taxi stopped in front of him. The driver asked, "

Aryan?"

Aryan got into the taxi. She asked, "How do you know my face?"

The driver smiled and said, "The boss sent the photo. And anyway, your 7-foot frame is hard to hide. You're visible from afar. But friend, your body could be a problem on this mission. You'll easily be caught crossing the border."

Aryan replied coldly,

"Do your job. My job is to rescue that guy, and I'll bring him back."

A heated argument ensued between the driver and Aryan. The driver suddenly increased the taxi's speed to 140 mph. Aryan placed one leg on the other seat to prevent himself from falling forward. The driver began driving even faster, testing Aryan's courage.

The car stopped with a jerk in front of an old hotel. The driver said,

"This is your destination. I'll pick you up tomorrow at 1 a.m. Remember, this isn't office work. One small mistake, and you'll die on the other side of the border. Don't sleep."

Aryan arrived at the hotel room. He looked out the window at the cold Korean night. Kenji's mission was on one side of his mind, and Komal's downcast face was on the other. He cleaned his pistol and smiled in the dark.
