Jungkook had tried three times already. what did he tried. he tried to confess to jin.
why?
hmmm... well jungkook decided that its finally a time to confess to jin before someone would snatch him away from jungkook.
so he is finally going to confess today but....
The first time he tried was in the studio hallway, late at night when everyone else had gone to shower or sleep in their room. Jin had been leaning against the wall, hair damp, sleeves pushed up doing something on his phone looking all sexy.
"Hey, honey" Jungkook had started.
"Yes sweety?" jin replied cheeks red.
"I need to tell you something." jungkook said in confident.
"what it is jungkook, is everythings fine" jin asked.
" i lo__?"
Right then and there at the wrong time, Namjoon's door flew open.
"Has anyone seen my notebook?" namjoon asked looking at them with a question mark.
The moment shattered like glass the words were hung there and forgotten.
And he missed the first chance.
The second time was in the dorm kitchen. he was looking for jin and saw him in the kitchen.
Jin was cutting fruit, soft music playing from his phone. Jungkook stood across from him, watching the careful movement of his hands. The love in his overshadowing everything.
"honey," he tried again, voice low.
"Hmm sweety?"
"I—"
The door burst open. AGAIN....
"WHO ATE MY YOGURT I GONNA KILL THAT BITCH?" Jimin yelled.
Jin nearly dropped the knife from laughing. Jungkook closed his eyes slowly exhaling.
Again he tried, the third time was almost perfect.
It was after a long rehearsal, everyone was exhausted and were resting. They were alone in the practice room just cooling down. The lights were dimmed. The air was warm and heavy with effort.
Jungkook stepped closer to jin.
"honey."
Jin looked up, surprised at the tone. jungkook calling him sweetly.
Jungkook's heart pounded so hard it felt violent he just want this to over soon and get the answer he will either be crying or kissing jin later but the suspense is killing him.

The door creaked open.
Taehyung poked his head in. "Are you two alive? We're ordering chicken what are you even doing lets eat."
Jungkook stared at him , disappointed in his own luck.
Taehyung blinked. "Why do I feel like I interrupted something where you two was planing to eat alone tasty food?"
"no we didnt" Jungkook and Jin said at the same time.
Taehyung squinted. "Suspicious i will cling to you both so you dont run away." and hooked his arms with both them.
And dragged them to where others are.
The fourth time, Jungkook didn't wait for the universe.
It was raining lightly that night, the kind of soft drizzle that made the city shine under streetlights. Schedules had ended late. The others had gone ahead with Mr. Lee, who had insisted Jin get proper rest. He was alone with jin and no member was there to disturb anymore.
Jungkook lingered.
"Hyung," he said carefully. "go on a walk with me please."
Jin hesitated only a second before nodding.
They didn't go far from there. Just around the block. The rain cooled the air, dampened noise. Jin's hair grew slightly darker where drops caught in it. the weather was prefect for a romantic occasion.
For a while, neither of them spoke, the silent was something warm.
Jungkook's hands were shaking again. He was nervous and afraid. but he is finally has the chance.
"Jin," he said finally calling by name to be serious.
Something in his voice made Jin stop walking the seriousness was there.
"Yes?"
Jungkook swallowed. His throat felt tight, his chest almost painful.
"I don't want to miss it again, so i will say it now no matter would be your answer" he said.
"Miss what, what do you want?"
"This."
The word hung between them, trembling.
Jungkook stepped closer to jin, not touching yet. Just close enough that he could see his own reflection faintly in Jin's eyes. looking deeply in his eyes. he stared at him gulping before saying.
"I loved you from the very first time when I was too young to understand what that meant, i just saw you and at the first sight i got in my heart you are just beyond beautiful" he said, voice unsteady but determined, sincerity showing. "I thought it would fade. I thought I'd grow out of it."
Rain tapped softly against pavement.
"I didn't, but instead i fall for you harder then before."
Jin didn't breathe.
"I tried to be patient," Jungkook continued. "Tried to just be someone you could rely on. I told myself that was enough."
His voice broke slightly, just once but he is not going to stop.
"But it's not."
The city felt very far away.
"I love you," Jungkook said. "Not because you take care of me. Not because you're kind. Not because you're beautiful."
He exhaled slowly.
"I love you because you're you. Because when I'm next to you, I don't feel like I have to prove anything. Because when you're tired, I want to carry it. Because when you laugh, it feels like something inside me settles."
His hands were trembling openly now.
"I don't want to hide from this. I don't want to keep missing my chance, i want to openly say to i love you so much."
Silence.
The rain softened. they were staring at each other too deeply too slowly.
Jin's heart felt like it was trying to escape his ribs. He was shocked , happy and was feeling something.
"You've been trying to tell me for weeks," Jin said quietly.
Jungkook huffed a shaky laugh. "I have bad timing."
"Terrible, but it was cute of you" Jin agreed softly.
Then he stepped forward. closer.
Close enough that Jungkook could feel his breath, jin breath felt warm and smelled nice.
"You idiot, are you still that kid asking me to marry you suddenly how can y....." Jin murmured, not cruel, not teasing. Just overwhelmed. "Do you think I didn't start feeling it too?"
Jungkook's eyes widened. He couldnt believe what he was hearing.
"I noticed you noticing me, taking care of me and becoming a man you are today now" Jin continued. "I just… didn't know if I was allowed to love you or show what i feel toward you."
"You are, really" Jungkook said immediately.
Jin smiled, small, almost fragile.
"I love you too"
The words were quieter than Jungkook's confession, but they carried just as much weight.
For a second, neither of them moved.
Then Jungkook reached up carefully, as if Jin might disappear if he moved too fast, and touched his cheek softly caressing one cheek.
Jin leaned into it.
That was all the permission he needed to make a move. He always waited for this moment.
He leaned toward jin lips and there lips met softly and slowly enjoying the taste of each other lips saliva mixing up . The kiss was soft. Not rushed. Not desperate. Just warm and certain. Jungkook's hand trembled against Jin's face; Jin's fingers curled into the fabric of Jungkook's jacket grabbing tightly the feeling was overwhelming for both of them.
Rain fell around them, unnoticed.
When they pulled back, their foreheads rested together staring deeply into each other eyes.
"We should go back," Jin whispered.
"Before someone opens a door," Jungkook replied.
As if summoned, Jungkook's phone buzzed violently.
Jimin: WHY ARE YOU BOTH MISSING AGAIN DID YOU WANT TO ABADONE ME AGAIN JIN HYUNG.
Taehyung: I SWEAR IF YOU'RE EATING WITHOUT US—
Hoseok: Mr. Lee is looking for you. come back fast.
Jin started laughing, breathless and bright.
Jungkook smiled in a way he never had before, unrestrained, unguarded.
"Okay, Let's go before we get caught." jin said and interlinked their hands.
They walked back side by side.
"i can officially call you my honey" jungkook said smiling.
"yes sweety" jin replied with big smile.
but this is just a beginning.
