Chapter 1 - Mindpower of A Businessman

The city never slept, but for Gourav Mehta, the nights were the loudest. They echoed with questions he could not silence -Was he good enough? Was his dream foolish? Would he ever escape the shadow of failure?

Gourav stood by the narrow window of his rented one-room apartment, staring at the scattered lights below. At twenty-six, he owned nothing more than a second-hand laptop, a cluttered desk, and an idea no one believed in -not even, sometimes, himself.

He had grown up hearing that success belonged to the fortunate few. His father, a factory worker, believed in stability. His mother believed in prayer. Gourav believed in possibility. That difference had slowly created distance. When he refused a safe job offer to start a small logistics -tech venture, the disappointment in their eyes hurt more than any harsh word.

The first year was brutal. Clients promised and disappeared. Investors smiled politely and declined. Friends stopped calling. Every rejection added another brick to the invisible wall of negativity surrounding him. Social media didn't help - former classmates postings promotions, cars, weddings. Gourav measured his life against their and felt smaller each day.

One evening, after his third major client cancelled, Gourav closed his laptop and rested his head on the desk. For the first time, quitting felt reasonable.

But then a memory surfaced -his father coming home exhausted, hands rough, eyes tired, yet never complaining. Gourav realized something important: failure wasn't the enemy. Fear was. And fear fed on negativity.

He opened the laptop again. Instead of searching for validation, Gourav began searching for solutions. He listed his mistakes honestly. He read, leaned, asked questions, and listened more than he spoke. Each day, he worked not to others wrong - but to improve himself.

Outside, the city lights flickered. Inside that small room, something steadier ignited: resolve Gourav didn't know it yet, but this quiet decision - to keep going when everything urged him to stop - was the true begining of his journey. The businessman he would become was still far away. But the man who refused to surrender had just been born.
