Ling Xuan stared at the potatoes section for a long time before clicking her tongue.
"Time for the dirty part."
Ling Xuan grabbed the hoe swiftly, swirling it around in irritation. She held the handle with both her hands and drove it down to the earth.

Ling Xuan made a grunt sound again before driving the hoe into the soil. She used her hand to push the soil away, revealing a brown potato.
She followed the potato leaves, digging around the base carefully until the rest of them came out in small clusters.
After hours of digging and harvesting the potatoes, she was finally done. Sweat trickled down her skin, and dirt clung to her arms, making her feel sticky and uncomfortable. The heat made everything worse.
She felt itchy, and it only made her more irritated.
She leaned on the warehouse wall, staring at the scattered potatoes on the ground.
