Within the God Realm, the Five Great God Kings were gathered at the core of the realm. Surrounding them were over a thousand gods—every deity still residing within the God Realm had converged here.
All the gods channeled their power into the God Realm Core, assisting it in refining an unknown supreme treasure.
Above the core, bound tightly in place, floated a fragment of shattered jade, as though it were a piece broken off from some complete jade artifact.
Though it was only a remnant, the fluctuations it emitted struck fear into the hearts of all the gods present—including the Five Great God Kings—while simultaneously filling them with uncontrollable excitement.
There was no doubt that this was a treasure beyond imagination, something that absolutely surpassed even super divine artifacts. If it could be refined into the God Realm Core, their God Realm would become far more powerful, perhaps even undergo an evolution into the legendary God Star. When that time came, they too would ascend along with it.
What the gods did not know was that while they were assisting the God Realm Core in refining the jade fragment, the fragment itself was also using the process to probe the structural mysteries of the God Realm. Deep within itself, it was faintly shaping a seed—a world seed capable of growing into a God Realm.
At the same time, it took the opportunity to comprehend the essence of the divine power, divine positions, and super divine artifacts of the Five Great God Kings. Within that God Realm seed, a true spirit lay sealed, having fallen into deep slumber.
Once it had fully grasped the profound secrets of the God Realm, the jade fragment suddenly erupted with power, shaking off the restraints of the gods and the God Realm Core alike, tearing through space and vanishing without a trace.
"Pff—!"
As their channeled power was violently repelled, every god spat out a mouthful of blood, suffering severe backlash. Yet none of them paid heed to their own injuries, instead staring in horror at the God Realm Core, now riddled with cracks.
The God Realm Core was the very heart of the God Realm. If it shattered, the entire realm would collapse.
"Kindness!"
The God of Evil was the first to react, shouting urgently as he unleashed nearly half of his origin power.
At the same moment, the God of Kindness also released nearly half of his own origin power, merging it with that of the God of Evil.
Though their powers were diametrically opposed in nature, they were not incapable of coexistence. In fact, only when they appeared together could their full might be unleashed.
The two God Kings' origin powers transformed into a black-and-white yin-yang diagram, which then further fused into a gray force that stabilized the God Realm Core, on the verge of collapse.
The Destruction God King and the Life God King soon reacted as well, joining forces to unleash nearly half of their origin power. Their fusion produced a pink force of creation, slowly repairing the God Realm Core.
The Asura God burned his origin power, forcibly erupting with strength to stabilize the God Realm itself, while the other gods spared no effort in providing divine power to assist.
Even so, they were not the God Realm Core itself and could not fully stabilize the realm. Belief power had already begun leaking outward, a sight that darkened every god's expression.
If this continued, then even if the God Realm Core were repaired in the future, the God Realm would still shrink and weaken drastically, no longer able to sustain its current number of divine positions. When that happened, some gods would inevitably fall from their thrones—an outcome no one wished to face.
As for reaccumulating belief power to recover, who knew how many tens of thousands of years that would take?
During that time, without the support of divine positions, they would no longer be immortal. In the end, they would decay into dust—that would be true annihilation.
"We must transfer the belief power of the God Realm to the Dragon God Plane first. Among all our subordinate planes, it is the only one capable of temporarily containing such an immense amount of belief power."
The Asura God quickly devised a solution, opening a spatial passage directly to the Dragon God Plane and gradually channeling the unstable belief power of the God Realm through it.
The gods did not dare delay, working together to divert the leaking belief power into the Dragon God Plane.
This was only a temporary transfer. They could think of a way to retrieve it later.
As the belief power continued to be diverted, the God Realm rapidly shrank. When it was reduced to half its original size, the combined strength of the Asura God and the other gods finally managed to stabilize it completely, preventing further collapse.
Yet as they looked upon the God Realm, now only half its former size, the gods felt like crying without tears.
All they could do was hope to repair the God Realm Core as quickly as possible, and then find a way to reclaim the belief power that had been transferred to the Dragon God Plane.
