One hour later.
With Argus's help, George and Fred finally finished all the assignments.
The two of them each put their arms around Argus's neck.
"Dude, from today onwards, you are our half-brother!"
"I promise you, you'll be a perfect Ravenclaw!"
Hermione rolled her eyes so hard they almost reached the sky. If it weren't for the fact that Argus had taught her as well, she would never have stayed in that carriage any longer.
"I feel I'm more likely to be sorted into Slytherin than Ravenclaw."
Argus, feeling suffocated by the pressure, managed to break free from their grasp and slightly corrected their views.
"Another pureblood, a major client in the future!"
Fred and his friends did not harbor the same hostility towards Slytherin as most Gryffindors.
To them, all the Slytherins are nouveau riche!
Most of the business was taken care of by Slytherins!
Besides, the Weasley family is one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, only... a little poor.
There's no need to feel inferior in front of pure-blooded Slytherins.
"Fred Weasley, this is my brother George."
As if remembering something, Fred took the initiative to introduce himself to Argus and Hermione.
"The famous Weasley twins."
"My name is Argus, and this is Miss Hermione Granger."
Argus stood up and shook hands with the two men respectively.
"Listen to us, George, our reputation has spread so far that even the young wizards who haven't started school have heard of us."
Fred's loud shouts and funny expressions made Hermione's lips twitch.
She wanted to laugh, but remembering that she was still angry, she forced herself to hold it back.
In the end, all she could do was shake her shoulders incessantly.
Just as the group was chatting enthusiastically, a commotion suddenly broke out outside the carriage.
The voices grew louder and louder, even threatening to drown out the conversation of Argus and the others.
"Why don't we go out and check, just in case something happens?"
Hermione looked worriedly in the direction the sound came from and whispered her suggestion.
Argus wasn't one to meddle in other people's business; in his eyes, the noise outside the carriage was nothing more than children playing around.
It's harmless!
What really bothered him was the familiar accent mixed in with the noisy sounds.
As it happened, the Weasley twins were also interested in watching the show, and before Argus could speak, they hurriedly pulled him up.
"It's so boring to read a book in the train carriage!"
"Let's go see what's going on."
...
Just as expected!
As soon as Argus approached, he saw a striking platinum blonde hair in the crowd.
Behind him was a large group of purebloods with angry faces.
In contrast, there was a red-haired boy!
Harry was sandwiched between the two sides, with people on either side.
"Argus is here!"
Upon seeing Argus's arrival, the group of pure-blooded teenagers seemed to have found their pillar of support and voluntarily made way for Argus to enter.
"Cool!"
Fred had just opened his mouth when he suddenly felt as if George had bumped his arm.
Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that one of the main characters in the incident was none other than his beloved younger brother, Ron!
Ron noticed their arrival and immediately gained confidence, raising his voice even louder, as if he wanted everyone to hear.
"It must be you! The Malfoy family are all bad seeds, Death Eaters! Neville's Trevor is nowhere to be found, and you're the only one leading people back and forth in the carriages. Who else could it be but you!"
"What happened?"
Argus asked softly to the person beside him.
Pansy Parkinson leaned over to explain.
"Draco, along with Goyle and Crabbe, were looking for you in the carriage when they ran into Harry Potter, who was out with Neville Longbottom and Ron Weasley looking for Neville's pet."
"The moment Ron saw Draco, he immediately concluded that Draco must have taken Neville Longbottom's pet."
"You saw what happened next."
Pansy's face was filled with anger, as were the other pure-blood family students around her.
Under Argus's guidance, these new generation of purebloods had long since come together as a group.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call them acolytes' reserves!
How could anyone see their companion being slandered like this!
"Weasley, I told you, I was just looking for someone in the carriage!"
"You think everyone's like your Weasley family, always looking for trouble!"
After some training from Argus, Draco had improved somewhat; he no longer ranted about pureblood supremacy all the time like he used to.
However, he couldn't help but be a bit sarcastic when it came to the Weasley family.
"You think you can just say you're looking for someone? Who can vouch for that?" Ron retorted angrily.
"Goyle and Crabbe can vouch for me!"
"Tch!" Ron scoffed.
"Everyone knows they're your lackeys. With you around, do you think they'd dare tell the truth!"
When Draco began to explain, Argus knew he couldn't explain it clearly.
The famous story "Let the Bullets Fly" taught us that nobody cares how many bowls of noodles Liu Zi ate!
To prove yourself, you shouldn't cut open your own stomach.
We should gouge out the other person's eyes and see inside our own stomach how many bowls of food they've actually eaten!
Unfortunately, he didn't grasp that, and now it's too late to try and follow that approach.
Sure enough, Draco's anger intensified upon hearing this, and he was about to retort when Argus came up behind him and patted him on the shoulder.
"Draco, calm down."
"Get out of my way!"
Draco was furious and suddenly turned around to see who had messed with him. When he met Argus's gaze, he looked like a wounded animal that had found its home and instantly became aggrieved.
"Argus, you've finally come. Believe me, I really didn't…"
"I trust you!"
One sentence gave Draco immense courage.
Argus looked at the other people who had gathered around him.
"I apologize for the inconvenience. Please return to your respective carriages to avoid congestion in the aisle."
"Thank you everyone!"
Elegant and gentle words and manners immediately won the favor of countless people.
But Argus's words were seen as a sign of guilt by Ron!
They were afraid others would discover their plot!
At that moment, he felt as if he had become a messenger of justice.
The Malfoy family, guilty of their sins, are about to be put to trial!
"No one is allowed to leave until Trevor is handed over!"
Idiot!
Argus sneered inwardly.
Without any evidence, you just made a guess and then blocked the passage with a large group of people, making them stand there with you.
I told the passerby to go back, but you wouldn't let them leave.
Do you really think everyone else has a good temper?
If things continue like this, even if you're right, you'll become wrong!
The Weasley twins beside him frantically winked at Ron, but Ron's mind was filled with images of himself being worshipped by countless people after upholding justice.
They simply don't want to pay any attention!
"Mr. Longbottom, could you tell me what your Trevor looks like?"
Argus didn't want to waste time and planned to solve the problem simply and directly.
Ignoring Ron, he went straight to Neville Longbottom.
Neville blushed and stepped forward, stammering, "Trevor is... a toad, a golden-backed toad, with thirteen pimples on its back."
"Okay, Mr. Longbottom, please wait a moment!"
Argus took out his wand, gathered information about Trevor in his mind, and gently pointed the wand into the distance.
"Accio Trevor!"
Whoosh!
In the next carriage, a plump toad flew directly onto Argus's hand, eliciting a gasp of surprise.
"A summoning spell! How cool!"
"I remember that the Summoning Spell can only be used on inanimate objects, right? Argus can summon living things!"
"That's not necessarily true. I've seen Professor Flitwick use the Summoning Charm to summon a cat that was hiding under the bed!"
"You mean, Argus is like Professor Flitwick! My God! If we could learn these skills, finding materials would be a piece of cake!"
"I wouldn't dare compare myself to Professor Flitwick." Argus explained to the Weasley twins after hearing their discussion: "The Summoning Charm isn't only for inanimate objects. If you use it on living things, you can easily hurt them if you don't control the force properly."
"Argus, you're putting a lot of pressure on us senior students!"
"Anyway, I can't use it, hehe."
Fred smiled and echoed George's words.
Argus handed Trevor to Neville: "Mr. Longbottom, see if this is your Trevor."
"Yes, yes, yes!"
Neville hugged Trevor with delight, then looked up at him with an embarrassed expression.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't expect that Trevor was hiding in our carriage. I've caused you trouble."
"The person you should apologize to is not me, but Draco."
Argus shook his head, revealing Draco's figure as he turned to the side.
"I'm sorry, Draco, I misunderstood you."
Neville wasn't bullied by Draco like in the original story, so he didn't have any prejudice against him.
He felt very guilty for misunderstanding the other party.
He only breathed a sigh of relief after receiving Draco's forgiveness.
Ron wasn't so lucky; the tougher he was just moments ago, the more awkward his situation became.
I wish I could disappear into a crack in the ground!
Just as he was about to sneak back into the carriage when no one was looking, Argus's voice rang out.
"What, Mr. Weasley, aren't you going to apologize for what you just did?"
