Warner's earlier revelation weighs heavily on my mind. While the twins recovered from the shock quickly, the reality of their situation keeps me restless and alert.

The hours dragged by at a sluggish pace. I managed to complete whatever work I could while Warner entertained the children. When Lorelei and Isabel took them for another horseback riding adventure, followed by bath time and bedtime routines, I finally found a quiet moment to focus on Nicholson's fairy princess gown. I carried the trunk that Isabel had nearly discovered earlier out to the balcony for my workspace.

These crisp evening hours away from urban chaos feel like a gift I'd forgotten existed.

The ocean breeze carries a hint of salt that feels almost like an embrace, bringing me closer to the concept of home than I've felt in ages. I verify that my portable sewing machine has adequate battery power and begin crafting the delicate wings.
