Land of fire, close to land of frost border
A crimson hair woman who looked to be in her early 20s, walked up to a crimsoned hair young man who looked to be 16 or so, sitting on a small boulder.
Both individuals wore black shinobi gear, consisting of a black shirt coat with baggy long sleeves that hid their hands, the shirt coats hem ended just past their knees, black pants tied at the ankles with white shinobi tape and black shinobi sandles.
Above the shirt coat sat a apron like metal armor. On each shoulder of the shirt coat was a crimson swirl of the Uzumaki clan.
"Kōga sama." The woman called stopping her stride just behind the young man, who was busy reading something off of a scroll.
"Hmm." Kōga hummed turning his head to look at the woman now standing by his side.
"What is it Rei?" Kōga asked putting down the scroll he'd been studying.
"News from the frontlines, The second hokage has been confirmed dead sacrificing himself to protect his students." Rei said pausing before continuing.
"Also Jun-sama has ordered our return to Uzushio!" Rei finished.
Kōga for his part nodded slowly. "Alright, have the others collect our dead, the injured are to be taken back first and those still capable of battle will be the rear guard, incase someone tries something stupid!" Kōga gave his orders to which rei inclined her head.
"As you wish kōga-sama!" She said before flickering away via the body flicker technique.
Kōga stood from the small boulder he was sitting on, dusting the soot and dust off his Armor before rolling up the scroll in his hand and sealing it away.
POOF!!
After the smoke from the scrolls sealing wafted away kōga turned in the direction of the Uzumaki clans main camp and flickered away via the body flicker technique as well.

Out at sea, a deluge of ships bearing the crest of the Uzumaki clan trudged through the waters.
These ships were built via his specifications and enhanced via fuinjutsu. Also they worked via fuinjutsu alone with no sails or engines needed.
Sitting on the deck of the ship in the very rear of the group, kōga returned to what he was doing, reading the scroll he'd put away earlier.
On the scrolls surface was information he'd compiled on combining different nature transformation to achieve kekkai genkai synthesis.
As a transmigrater that had watched all of naruto and some of boruto while also searching online for cannon information, he'd known that everything in this world relied on yin and yang release nature transformations.
1 yin release to change either form, shape or composition while the other, yang release breathed life, allowing the imagined to become real.
And on the lower end of this scroll was the method he'd come up with to used the first hokages vaunted wood release!
With wood release, kōga could stop what he knew was coming, like hell he'd allow his clan to be wiped out like some sort of cattle.
Kōga released a scoff, yeah, he'd allow who ever it was who supposedly destroyed the Uzumaki clan in the cannon to meet a fate far worse than death.
Looking up from the scroll kōga let his gaze land on his beautiful homeland of Uzushiogakure in the distance.
Yeah he'd protect what he held dear.

In Uzushiogakure, the hidden village of the land of whirlpools in the uzukages/Damyios tower the head of the clan, Uzumaki Jun the son of Uzumaki Ashina, the grandfather of Uzumaki Mito and Uzumaki Kōga sat inside the buildings council chamber.
Sitting in the chamber with him were other members of the clan like Juns wife Uzumaki Kiko, branch family elders, clan and village elders, some of the clans strongest jonnin and of course the clans only living great elder, Uzumaki ashina going nearly 200 years in age yet he could still whip the ass of most, if not all of the current Uzumaki clan members in the chamber.
Jun cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention.
"I've received Intel from the mainland, it would appear tobirama has sacrificed himself to protect his students, I've made the decision to call Kōga and his troops sent to help konoha deal with the kumo front back to the village!" He said to the room.
Most of the clansman present were surprised before some shook their heads, sorry to hear that such a brilliant person like the 2nd hokage died so suddenly.
Jun cleared his throat again, regaining the rooms attention. "It would also appear that tobirama selected 1 of his students as his successor more specifically Sarutobi Hiruzen!" He finished, some of the more political inclined members of the clan raised their brows surprised and yet not surprised that this was tobiramas choice.
"Going forward we are to see how this young hokage does things!" Informed Jun before dismissing those in the room.
The only 1s remaining in the room was Jun his wife kiko and his father ashina.
