Anu;
I can feel the scowl etched into my face as I stare into space.
My shift just ended, yet everythingfeelss fucking wrong!
My feet hurt, my brain hurts, and my curiosity is brutally bruised.
I walk out of the café with my bag slung over my shoulder, and anger steaming off me.
The bell above the door chimes softly behind me as I shut the door, but my thoughts are busy circling the same useless loop they've been stuck in all afternoon.
Anore!!
Or rather… Anore who?
I sigh and pull my phone out again as I walk, even though I already know what I'll find. Nothing. Absolutely nothing helpful.
I tried everything.
Social media, search engines… Even those sketchy people-finder sites that look like they'll steal your soul along with your data.
I typed his name in every way imaginable.
Anor.
Anore.
Anoré.
A-N-O-R-E.
And every fucking time, I didn't find anything related to him.
Do you know how many Anores exist on the internet?
Too many!!
