Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: A Hidden Quest on the School Field

After finishing my breakfast, I went to school and sat in my seat. I was in class 1-H. This school had 18 departments, each with 50 students.

So many people… This place was practically a gold mine for collecting system points.

When the first lesson ended, a familiar notification echoed in my mind.

• You gained 3 points for completing the lesson.

So completing tasks granted points. In the same way, I completed the next three lessons and earned a total of 12 points that day.

With the 18 points I had now, I decided to increase my Agility by 1. The difference wasn't huge, but I could feel a slight improvement in my movements.

Today, I didn't talk to anyone much except David, the so-called friend of the body's previous owner.

But if I wanted more points, I needed to interact with more people. I set that as my weekly goal.

Over the next few days, I got closer to a few classmates, but I couldn't discover a new way to earn extra points.

At least not until the PE class two days later.

That day, we were told we would be playing soccer. In my previous life, soccer was my passion, but I mostly watched it; I hadn't played in a long time before I died.

A total of 20 students joined the game, and we split into two teams.

Because my physical condition was much worse than the others', I was put in a defensive position.

This wasn't even a sports school, but children from wealthy families had access to strengthening supplements. My stats were far behind theirs.

Then suddenly, the system rang again.

• Complete 30 successful passes.

• Make 2 successful long passes.

• Complete 3 successful defensive tackles.

So there were special missions… and completing them would probably give extra points.

Even though my body was lacking, my experience was far greater than that of the average 15-year-old. That gave me a slight advantage.

I took a deep breath.

This time, I wasn't just going to play.

I was going to put everything I had on the field.
