Percy's POV
Alpha Joseph and I had spent days surveying the pack territory, analyzing soil samples and mapping out the silver contamination left by Shepherd's reign of terror. We identified the areas with the heaviest concentration of toxins and prioritized zones based on foot traffic patterns and where pack pups were most likely to play.
Joseph dove into the cleanup project immediately, and I had never been more grateful to have him as part of our pack. With everything happening in my personal life, I needed to focus on Henderson and our unborn children rather than stress about environmental hazards.
Joseph did request that he and Dorothy be given space to build their own home. We selected a suitable location and made it part of the initial cleanup phase so construction could begin soon. For now, they occupied the Gamma floor, which had become significantly noisier since their arrival. The constant sounds served as adequate preparation for what was coming with four babies.
