Henderson's POV
"Hey Aaron," I answer, immediately sensing Percy's low rumble of annoyance at Aaron's obvious teasing tone.
"Oh hell, please tell me I didn't just interrupt you two getting busy," Aaron's voice carries clear amusement, and I can practically hear his smirk through the phone.
The man is clearly enjoying this far too much.
"Do you honestly believe I'd pick up the damn phone if I was in bed with my mate?" Percy's voice holds that dangerous edge that means his patience is wearing thin.
"Hey, you might have if you were concerned about me," Aaron shoots back without missing a beat.
"Did you seriously call just to mess with me?" Percy demands.
"Well, that's definitely part of it, but I actually called to check on Henderson," Aaron admits.
"My mate is doing perfectly well. Her mother is here ensuring her pregnancy and delivery go smoothly, and Kain showed up again this morning," Percy says, his expression softening as he looks down at me.
