Joseph's POV
Every time Dorothy declares her love for me in front of the pack, something fierce and primal surges through my chest. The way she owns our connection publicly settles something deep within me, and I can sense how it affects our pack members too. They need to see their leaders united, happy, strong together.
The woman who captivates me completely, who I respect above all others and cherish beyond measure, keeps announcing to anyone within earshot that she loves me and wants to carry my children. The first declaration might have slipped out naturally, but this latest one was deliberate, calculated, perfect.
Hearing my pack members whisper their approval fills me with satisfaction. That extraordinary woman chooses me, loves me, wants me.
"You know what this place is missing?" I announce suddenly. Without waiting for anyone to respond, I catch Karl's attention. "Flowers. Everywhere," I declare, then stride toward the exit as laughter and cheers erupt behind me.
