Dorothy's POV
I was about to search for Emilia when Abigail appeared in the doorway, cradling her newborn daughter against her chest.
"Luna, I know you just returned, but could you examine my baby? Something feels wrong."
My heart clenched at the worry etched across her face. "What's happening?"
"She's not feeding properly. Her scent is normal, she sleeps fine, but nursing has become a nightmare." Abigail's voice cracked with exhaustion.
"Let's take a look," I said, gesturing for Adaline to prepare a room while I quickly checked on Simona and Naomi.
Inside the examination room, Abigail paced frantically while Adaline weighed the infant.
"What did you name her?" I asked, trying to ease the tension.
"Holt," she whispered, gazing down at her daughter with desperate love.
"How are you and your mate handling parenthood?" I inquired gently.
