Austin's POV
After that cold shower did absolutely nothing to cool down my burning need last night, I had to handle things myself before finally drifting off way too late. Today could bring anything, and I need to be prepared for whatever comes my way.
I rise before dawn, and when I head to collect Lara for breakfast, the flower arrangements are waiting by her door. I knock while gathering them up, just as she pulls the door open.
"Looks like someone has a secret admirer," I tell her with a grin.
"Maybe he's not so secret anymore," she replies, accepting the vases from my hands and carrying them inside. I watch her survey the room, deciding where each arrangement should go. She swaps out the wilted flowers by her bedside with the fresh ones, then places the remaining bouquets strategically around the space.
"Should I get used to this daily routine, Austin?" she asks, approaching me and sliding her palms up my chest before locking them behind my neck.
