Chapter 20 - Chapter 20:The Wrath of Ozarian

The battlefield trembled under Jay's furious roar.

"All of you—step back!"

Ozarian only smirked at him, amused.

Jay narrowed his eyes.

"Summon!"

A burst of red aura exploded around him.

In an instant—Jay's entire Demon Army, all Commanders, and Thalvor materialized behind him like a wall of death.

Two colossal armies collided.

The ground cracked. Shockwaves tore through the broken castle. The sky dimmed under the pressure of their clash.

Ozarian didn't wait. He appeared right in front of Jay, eyes sharp.

"So… you're Jay?"

"Yes."

The next moment—Ozarian's fist sunk into Jay's stomach with terrifying force.

Jay countered with equal speed.

Their strikes were so fast that even the strongest hunters froze in fear.

Jay realized something horrifying.

He wasn't fighting Ozarian's full power. Ozarian was playing with him.

Jay's expression hardened.

Ozarian's smile faded.

Both shouted together—

"Summon Sword!"

Their swords emerged in a flash of blinding light.

And then—

BOOM!

The real battle began.

Light-speed slashes. Explosions ripping walls. Shockwaves splitting stone.

The entire castle began to crumble around them.

"Everyone get out of here!" Jay shouted.

But Ozarian was faster.

He moved across the battlefield like a shadow—

slaughtering Jay's teammates one after another.

Within seconds, they were all gone.

All except Kabir.

Kabir charged in fury, joining Jay.

But Ozarian barely glanced at him before landing a single punch that hurled him across the castle ruins.

Elsewhere — Hunters Association Meeting

Dhruv, Aditya, and Amar were in a strategy meeting when the doors burst open.

A man ran inside, breathless.

"Sir! The special gate team that went in five hours ago… they haven't returned!"

Aditya grabbed the list.

Jay's name was on it.

His eyes widened.

"We're going into that gate. Now!"

Inside the Gate

The fight had reached god-level intensity.

Ozarian swung a devastating punch—

CRACK!

Jay was thrown across the battlefield, rolling over shattered stone. Blood poured from his mouth.

His Diary suddenly flipped open in front of him.

Jay coughed.

"Kaelvious… cover for me."

Kaelvious charged toward Ozarian like a raging storm.

Jay looked at the diary.

XP System Unlocked.

Your XP: 1,200,000

He opened the Shop.

Potions. He selected instantly.

−1,198,900 XP

Jay bought two Health Potions, leaving himself with 1,100 XP.

He drank the first.

+30% Recovery

He drank the second.

+60% Recovery

Jay stood up again—

Still bleeding, still damaged—

But unbroken.

"Kaelvious, fall back. Handle the demons."

Kaelvious nodded and joined the battlefield.

Ozarian laughed.

"Where did you run off to? Got scared?"

Jay wiped the blood from his lips.

"Not even close."

The fight ignited again—each clash breaking the world around them.

Dhruv, Aditya, and Amar finally reached inside the gate.

And what they saw left them speechless—

Jay vs Ozarian.

A battle on the level of gods.

Ozarian swung his sword—

SLASH!

A piercing strike ripped through Jay's leg, creating a hole.

Jay collapsed as blood spilled from his stomach and mouth.

Ozarian casually walked to his throne and sat down.

Jay's vision blurred.

But he forced his hand up—

"Summon—Potion of Healing!"

A portal opened.

Potions dropped into his hand.

He drank—

First: 30% recovery

Second: 60% recovery

Breathing heavily, barely standing, Jay glared at Ozarian.

Ozarian rose and walked toward him slowly.

"I'll spare you today… Jay.

Because on November 5, a war unlike anything you've ever seen will begin.

Be ready."

The entire Ozarian Demon Army vanished.

Jay's Blood Army also returned to its dimension.

Silence consumed the battlefield.

Outside the Gate

The moment Jay stepped out, a blinding wave of camera flashes hit him.

Hundreds of reporters surrounded the entrance.

But Jay didn't see them.

He only saw the ground—

—and the dead bodies of his entire team lying in rows.

Killed brutally.

By Ozarian.

Jay's heart exploded in rage.

He walked toward a massive stone pillar, placed his hand on it—

CRACK.

The stone shattered.

BOOOOOOM!!

The entire pillar collapsed into debris.

Dust rose.

Reporters fell silent.

Jay stood in the ruins—

eyes burning in fury.
