Blood dripped from Jay's clothes as he staggered out of the dark jungle. Trees were shredded behind him, the ground cracked from the battle that had just taken place.
His breathing was heavy… but his eyes were calm.
Jay reached his jeep, opened the door with a weak push, and collapsed inside.
Without a word, he drove straight home—injured, drained, but silent.
Early Morning
Jay quietly climbed through his window and fell face-first onto his bed.
Within seconds—he passed out.
Next Day
When he stepped out of his room, his sister froze the moment she saw him.
Her voice shook:
"Jay… when did you come home?
And how did you get hurt like this?!"
Jay brushed it off calmly:
"It's nothing. Just a small injury."
His sister's eyes filled with worry and frustration.
"Jay… I hate that you became a hunter.
You're not the same anymore… you've changed."
Jay's expression hardened—serious, but gentle.
"I can't quit.
I want to protect everyone."
She looked down, defeated.
"…Fine. At least drop me to school."
Jay nodded.
"Okay."
On the Way Back
After dropping his sister, Jay opened the Hunter App on his phone.
A list appeared:

Jay's eyes narrowed.
He drove straight to the location.
Special Gate Location
Two hunters from his own city team were already there.
They smirked when they saw him.
"Oh look… the weakest hunter of our city is here."
Jay didn't even respond.
He simply walked past them.
At that moment, the Gate began to glow violently.
The team leader stepped forward:
"I am the leader today.
This is a Special Gate.

We must clear it together."
Kabir arrived from behind.
"Jay? You came too?"
Jay replied calmly, "Yes. To close the gate."

Inside the Gate
As soon as they entered, everyone froze.

A sky.

A vast forest.
A completely different realm.
The team looked at their leader.
"This isn't a normal special gate…
What is this place?"
The leader stayed quiet.
Even he didn't know.
They walked deeper—
until an enormous castle appeared before them.

a man stood silently, staring down at them.
The team shouted:
"Hey! What is a human doing here?"
The man laughed.
"Human?
Do I look like a human to you?"
One impatient member rushed forward and attacked him.
The man raised one hand—
"Summon."
From behind him…
a DEMON ARMY materialized.
Not small demons—
but an army like Jay's.
With several powerful upper-class demons in front.
One of them stepped forward and instantly killed the reckless attacker.
Then the man spoke:
"My name is Ozarian.
Now… let the blood game begin."
The First Attack
The two hunters who mocked Jay earlier rushed toward Ozarian in anger.
They never even reached him.
Ozarian moved—
and his aura erupted like a storm.
Both hunters were about to be killed—
They closed their eyes tightly, accepting death.
Then— CLANG!
A blade of darkness blocked the killing strike.
Noctblade.
Jay appeared in front of them, eyes blazing.
He shouted:
"Never close your eyes in a fight!"
The hunters looked at him as if a god had descended.
Jay's aura exploded—
black and red lightning swirling around him.
Ozarian smiled widely.
"Oh?
Finally… some entertainment."
