"When Sade and Tunde crossed the boundary together, they didn't fall into the spirit realm… or the human world…
They fell somewhere else."
Sade opens her eyes…
and gasps.
She and Tunde are floating in a completely white realm, empty and soundless like time has stopped.
No spirits.
No humans.
No sky.
No ground.
Just infinite white space, humming softly.
Tunde looks around, confused but strangely calm.
Tunde:
"Sade… this isn't the spirit realm."
Sade swallows hard.
"Then where are we?"
Suddenly—
A heartbeat echoes.
Not hers.
Not Tunde's.
A third heartbeat.
Louder.
Heavier.
Ancient.
The white space cracks open like glass.
A voice — massive, layered, terrifying—
"WELCOME… TO THE THIRD REALM."
A figure appears.
Not a person.
Not a spirit.
Not a god.
A shifting form made of smoke, light, shadow, and water — all moving at once.
The Being of Balance.
The original keeper of the boundary.
Sade's knees buckle under its presence.
Being:
"You two have broken the rule that held reality together."
Tunde steps forward, jaw tight.
Tunde:
"Then tell us how to fix it."
The being responds with calm devastation:
"Fixing it requires a sacrifice."
Sade's breath catches.
"Whose?"
The being tilts, observing them like puzzles.
"Yours."
The being stretches its hand —
and the entire white realm turns into a vision of the past.
Sade sees herself…
but not the current her.
Her past-life self.
A powerful guardian.
A warrior glowing with the same light she has now.
Beside her?
Tunde.
But different too.
King-like.
Stronger.
Older.
The past versions of Sade and Tunde hold hands…
and then break the boundary.
They created the first collapse between realms.
Sade covers her mouth.
"No… that can't be—"
The Being interrupts:
"Your love destroyed the boundary once.
It is destroying it again."
Tunde grabs her hand.
"No. We won't let history repeat itself."
But the being's voice is colder now:
"Your bond is the reason the Hollow Ones exist."
"Your bond is the reason souls lose their path."
"Your bond is the reason reality weakens."
Sade's whole body trembles.
The being raises two glowing orbs:
One blue — one red.
Blue:
Sade chooses the human world.
The spirit realm collapses.
Millions of souls lost forever.
Red:
Sade chooses the spirit realm.
Her body dies.
Humanity loses its Crosspoint protector.
Tunde realizes something horrifying.
Tunde:
"What happens if I take the choice instead?"
The being turns toward him.
"You are already dead once.
Your choice carries no weight."
Sade shakes her head, sobbing.
"There has to be another way!"
The being speaks slowly… dangerously:
"There is.
But it requires breaking the bond between you."
Tunde's expression turns to panic.
Sade whispers:
"No… no please… not that…"
The being's final words hit like a hammer:
"The Third Realm will allow one sacrifice.
Your love… or your life."
Sade's heart breaks in her chest.
Tunde's eyes fill with tears — real, raw, shaking.
He takes her hands, voice cracking:
"Sade… whatever we choose… I won't let you die."
She clings to him, crying:
"And I won't let them erase us."
The realm begins collapsing —
white space folding into black cracks.
The being raises its arm:
"Choose… now."
Sade sobs as she looks at Tunde.
Tunde whispers, voice shattered:
"Sade… please… choose me…"
And then—
Sade screams—
"I CHOOSE—"
